One year FULL TIME RV with kids! RV beginner mistakes (there’s a lot)

We have been living FULL TIME in our RV for over ONE YEAR! Looking back there are A LOT of things we would do differently. Here are just a few things we WISH WE KNEW BEFORE selling it all for a life on the road with KIDS! Stick around until the end so you don't make the same MISTAKES we did!

Great couple with good information to pass along. I struggled with how often she interrupted him. He couldn’t finish a sentence without her cutting him off and finishing his thought.

This is my first video on their channel. They seem like a connected and cute couple but oh my goodness yes she talks over and finishes all his sentences. I understand knowing what your significant other is going to bring forth and your brain jumping ahead but let them say it and then add supporting or confirming content to their segment. Don’t take over every segment. I was actually surprised with how cool he was with it. But like I said at the beginning they seem like a connected and cute couple. I did appreciate their insights to full time on the road living.

New Subs me and wife are doing are research now and we are looking into full time RV life and you guys have been the most helpful family please keep it up you guys have inspired us we are a family of four with paws 🐈 we are thinking but not overthinking it by next tax season I’m hoping we jump head first. I have 4 kids and a dog and we have been trying to plan the full time thing for 2 years now. We have a travel trailer that was what we could afford at the time and done trips every few months to weekenders. We are trying to save to get a Class A and pay down debt. So we can be debt free on the road. I found a job remote to go along with my self employment so now my husband needs to find one. I think our plan is working out so far. I susbscribed and will be catching up, crossing fingers soon.

Love this video! My wife and I are considering going full time Rv’ing. Our kids are not so much about it. The are 17 and 15 this year. So we’re gonna wait until the younger one turns 18 ! I think. Our home is almost paid for. We have the equity to sell and buy everything for cash and that’s how we are going to get started

I definitely agree with you on one part. Everyone wants to start out small. I can't drive anything big or I can't tow anything big. If you don't have enough room to be comfortable your trip is over. Like you said, I costs a lot of money to get out of your mistake into the rig you really needed and wanted to begin with. Secondly, does she ever let you finish a statement? Maybe she should just dok all the videos in the future.

I just love you guys. Trial and error what young family or who doesn't go thru that? You did and now your better for it. What kind of rid did you get do you have a separate rooms for the boys? Do you work from home?? You all look happy God bless you and be safe. From a grand grand mother.❤🎉

My husband wants to do a year of traveling in a camper. We have 2 kids under 3 so as much as I would love to travel and bond as a family I’m having such a hard time getting on board with leaving our safe cozy home with all the hot water, baths and accommodations we need. I need all the advice I can get on the pros and cons with little children on the road.

Find your WHY behind doing it. Spend time talking with your partner and make sure you are both on the same page before stepping in. You have to know your WHY & who your teammates are otherwise, it’s never going to feel good!

Of course! There’s plenty of solid options for good internet on the road these days! We use Starlink and also have a Pepwave cellular router. It can get difficult in heavily wooded areas with poor cell service, but strong internet is definitely possible to have out here

Travel nursing was the main gig when we first started. Now it’s a combination of travel nursing, content creation, and work camping!

@@suzannek3406 that varies widely. Will you own your rig, cars out right? Loans? Credit cards? How do you want to travel? How long will you stay in places? It’s so so different for everyone! We share our *personal* financial picture on our Instagram subscription if you want our family’s personal financial details! But again, it looks different for everyone! I know you could easily travel as a nurse practitioner through any travel agency…. Like aya!

We do an ebb and flow of travel nursing, work camping, and content creating…. Always choosing time & experiences over money and choose opportunities based on sacrifice of time vs benefit! So we take contract or seasonal jobs based on job market, weather, and what gives us the most freedom!

You nailed it on the head! Our energy was off! We were so new to content creation (still are) and were so nervous. We didn’t have a clear concept, we hadn’t thought about what we would say and felt the pressure of it all! We’ve gotten better & hope to continue improving & improving! Grateful for you either way! Remember, adventure is out there so go on and embrace YOUR Adventurous Spirit!
