Hello!! I wanted to update you guys with how the garden looks one year later! I really hope you enjoy!!

This was a fun video Anna. Unbelievable what you started with and what you have now. I really have been enjoying my deck gardening this year. I have a huge deck that runs almost the whole length of the house. My vision for it is to look lush and tropical. Here in South Texas on the gulf coast it is hot and humid so these plants do well and have even survived over four winters. I’ll bring them in if it gets freezing. I had been wanting a banana zebrina out there. My daughters laugh at how I name all my plants. They gave me a banana zebrina for Mother’s Day. When I get a new plant I go up to her and say hey girl what’s your name? Anyway this plant is named Carmen Miranda. Thanks for this video. Love in Christ

I’ve watched as you and Ernie created your beautiful gardens. The blood, sweat, and tears have paid off big time. It is a stunning yard. I can’t imagine what the future holds, but I’m sure glad to be along for the ride.

Love to see this, I too started with a dirt field so I completely respect the time, money and labor it took to get it to where it is today your garden is beautiful and your guys hard work shows! I was thinking maybe you guys could remove the skinny portion of grass pathway in the side yard… mulch it just like the rest of the surrounding bed but add pavers or flagstones of some sort as another way to transition

You guys did a great job!! Can’t wait to see it blooming in a month or so!!We got your edger from Lowe’s, my husband loves it. And just ordered the giraffe hose reel yesterday from Amazon, it will make our life easier not having to crank the hose back all the time! ☀️☀️☀️

You did a great job Anna! Have you thought about putting seating in another part of your garden? It will be great to enjoy it from another angle. Maybe a stone bench. A stone pathway would be a nice addition too for that sliver of grass on the side.

Very nice garden. Maybe you can add a little water feature? A bowl with a solar fountain and some stones in for the birds to bath and drink.
