I can say personaly, it's only amount of time you go, when you go you share your life and experiece and why you feel your trans, depending how much you give In a session the therapist decides it took me 4 months only because I went 1nc a month she week week after week so depending how much you can afford how much free time you can make all depends on you, they know whether you are trans or just depressed or yes confused, by the 3-4 visit and give you a letter of recommendation for a doctor

I wanted I went to my sessions dressed as a girl that is a factor tbh they have to see you as YOU dress how you want they of course are good at reading you my therapist saw times I went as a girl I was happier and more positive then when I went as a boy tbh I didn't even notice that ha but that's how they do it

and. I hadn't even been out dressed as a girl for more than even 2 months so you can go as you are now transitioned physically or not that's how I got my hormones, 4 month now
