A non biased comment on team lakay fighters. They are awesome at what they do best and that's explosive unorthodox striking. Yes their grappling and take down defense have improved over the years but when faced against "chain wrestlers and methodical submission specialists (i.e. Aoki and Bibiano) they always seem to fall short. Non the less they are great fighters, certainly one of the top in SEA and im hoping they would be able to close the gap in their submission game in the near future Congrats Lakay!

True fan of one championship knows that kingad improved a lot.. Yung ibang pinoy halatang ngayon lang sya napanood bcoz of dj.. Natural mahihirapan sya kay dj, the goat nga eh! Pero umani pa rin ng papuri si kingad kay dj at alam kong isa si kingad sa nagpahirap sa kanya.. Sa mga pinoy na nagsasabing bkt hindi nag aral ng ground si kingad at team lakay may improvement naman sila which means nag train talaga sila.. ang problema di nyo lang tanggap na natatalo ang pinoy! Depende pa yan sa background nila, if foreign sure na high tech at kumpleto at well equipped cla sa training. Dito sa Pinas, mostly improvised po or gifts ang mga ginagamit. Me financial struggles din po cla so kung ano kaya dun n lng. Pero still they are training hard. D lng kc natin nakikita un. Sa hirap na pinagdadaanan ng mma fighters natin, wag namn tau insensitive pag talo sila. High level fighters n din cla kht papanu, d rin biro ang Mga kalaban nila. Congratulations to DJ but Kingad showed his amazing potential. I would even say kingad's striking was better. To team lakay tho when will they learn. I still support them but it has been the CONSTANT weakness that theyve been exposed to. I hope they can have a legit training camp with foreign bjj and wrestling partners. They can scrap no question but theyve been scouted by all the camps in asia already and other camps have figured them out. We win or we learn.
