Filipino martial arts icon Eduard Folayang reached the pinnacle of the mixed martial arts world when he dethroned Japanese legend Shinya Aoki for the ONE Lightweight World Championship in the main event of ONE: DEFENDING HONOR! “Landslide” staved off Aoki’s takedown attempts, before unloading a barrage of knees and punches for the third-round stoppage!

I think they were rivals and really hated each other. So the guy wouldn't tap because admitting defeat is worse than getting his arm broken.

@@jacksypher3403 nooo. If you watch the clip you will see he traps both arms so he can't tap. Then snaps his arm. Then gives him the finger. The fact this guy was or is still being given fights is absolutely disgusting.

@@Link_Says even if you have both arms trapped you can yell Tap and they'll stop the fight. And Aoki didnt fully trap the second hand it was just kinda smothered by his legs. He could've pulled it out and it took awhile for that armbar to break his arm because you're not supposed to immediately go for the break you have to give them time to tap. Flipping the middle finger is a bit much though. Bad sportsmanship.

@@jacksypher3403 imo it didn't take long at all. But even if it did its cos the other fighter didn't just give it to him. He was still fighting. Anyway I haaate the guy after seeing that and I don't wana watch the clip again for context. I really have so much less respect for one fc.

@@Link_Says there was like some kind of rivalry between them that's why Aoki gave the finger. I think he defeated one of Aokis friends. One fc still gives him fights because hes controversial. Good for advertisement if you play him as a villain
