The truth is, he's a good guy with a good heart. He actually does give people more chances, than they'll probably ever deserve. And that's what makes him so unique.

Rick and Co didn't even know Negan and the Saviors, but they've killed all of these ppl in their sleep to get half of Hilltop's food and 'one of them cows'. Daryl's idea. "Boogeyman shows up, demands half of your supplies, kills one of you, keeps you safe and you're giving that all to him? What if we take care of that, will you give US all of that?" Daryl also wanted 'one of them cows'. Why do ppl forget what HE did? Daryl and HIS ppl started the killing. He also blew up the bikers with the RPG. We don't know for sure if that funny Savior would've killed Abe or Sasha. They needed to know where they were living. He didn't get a change to do whatever. That guy did what he was told to do to get food. Daryl and Negan both killed eachother's ppl because they both had to feed their ppl and the Hilltop had food because they're farmers. They are the same, why does Daryl think that Negan is the bad one here? They did what they thought was best for their ppl. Daryl drove a truck in the Sanctuary were ppl/workers were surviving too and he knew how they had to live and work for points. Daryl didn't care at all. He is NOT a better person as Negan is. Lori slept with Shane and Rick btw, at the very beginning at their camp in the woods near Atlanta and Judith was about 3 years old when Negan came. 9 Months of pregnancy and 3 years = 12 years old at the most. He looked older ofcourse, but he was about 12 in the story and imo Negan wouldn't have killed Carl, he needed Rick to get in line again. Without Carl, nothing would matter anymore for Rick. He wouldn't follow Negan's rules for sure if Negan would've killed Carl. Negan isn't stupid, he knew that.
