Another REQUEST video!
I was REQUESTED to play PHOENIX WRIGHT/DANTE/SPIDER-MAN team on UMVC3! I had never played PHOENIX WRIGHT before, so I learned him to make this video, and I'm so glad I did! I just loved to play this character, he's so fun to play! This team is really good and has lots of sinergy, I loved how this characters work togheter! I also intend to create other teams with PHOENIX WRIGHT too, so you can expect to see more of him in the future!

@0:10 If I'm remembering Lythero's guide correctly, that super did *exactly* enough to break Maya's shield and nothing more. @7:35 PW hitboxes, amirite? @9:38 Very good job keeping up pressure. I initially questioned the wisdom of using Crystal instead of Jam Session but that was definitely the right assist to pick for a team with Phoenix Wright on it. @11:38 LOL @19:00 ooh an adaptation of the Marlinpie Special. Don't think I've ever seen that with that particular pairing. @21:33 Dormammu finally gets convicted of arson I know Spidey is considered to be pretty lousy as an assist character, but I'm always impressed how much mileage you get out of Web Ball.

7:35 - The H on investigation mode is not so bad huh 9:38 - I wanted Crystal specially for the OTG pick up after the overhead for PW... Since it also helps Spider-Man extend combos I thought, why not? Hahaha 11:38 - 🤣 19:00 - This one is good too! 21:33 - Web Ball can be very helpful sometimes!

lol all of PW's special moves and normals look pretty ambiguous and good for mixups. Nice crossups/incoming/mixups in this set! 1:42 (You’ve been served!) & 3:15 (Served 2!) & 5:42 (Maya?! Setup Assist!) & 8:22 & 8:45 (Tricky!) & 11:03 & 14:39 & 17:10 & 22:27 (Geez this setup into TWO supers!)

This PW team works! PW on point based teams I've seen usually have an assist to protect PW by keeping something between him and the other team. iHeartJustice uses Eye of Agamotto, Firasylveon and KirbyMass use the charging assists of Captain America and Felicia respectively to physically place themselves in front of PW and to push them back. So Great idea using Dante's Crystal assist, it's fat so it's a good barrier and it's an OTG too! Well played and another cool video again man. I think Web Ball worked out well as Spidey's assist. I noticed you used it more in close quarters to hopefully catch them unaware heh. Those moments made the synergy look great. If you pick the White Spidey I bet it would be even more effective since it's harder to see? lol iono just thought it's funny. Also you're using Missle for PW's assist right? Does he run in as a low attack?

Thanks! Yeah, I went with Crystal specially cause of the OTG option it gives, and the Web Ball cause it works as a projectile (great for neutral) and also it catches oponnents just like you noticed, which is awesome haha

I've played PW Dante for a while and I think Jam session is the best assist for PW. Crystal is pretty good too but jam session gives a shield wall which is really helpful when Maya has already been used. It blocks projectiles too, just be careful not to let Dante die.

HAHAHAHA Wesker joined the party HAHAHAHA The coolest thing was Dormammu's face! HAHAHA PW's level 3 is the funniest cause you can see the characters faces when they're beeing judged by him HAHAHAHA

@@OneHeroes For real Dormammu 🤣! Most funny level three, especially when it catches people totally off guard since it's full screen capture lol. It does so much damage too, the second most I think since it gets a boost from turnabout a mode.

I do have one question tho, what are the benefits of Spider-Man being in anchor rather than second? Genuinely curious

It's not about anchor positioning. It's because of the setups that are afforded by the second character on the screen. It's about optimizing how much meter is actually used when you go for objection setups. Dante leads into that more effectively than Spiderman.

Yeah, what he said pretty much covers it! Also, Dante gives me a safe DHC out any time I want with Devil Trigger and I feel very confourtable having Spidey at the anchor position

@@disasterarchfiend9638 he clearly puts spiderman as his anchor for 1 because he does have the best spiderman and 2 spiderman is hard deal if he gets you in the corner it over.
