Heck yeah! I really enjoy OneKey wallets. The Pro is definitely a “premium” wallet. Even the cheaper Classic 1S is awesome, just not as fancy

I can see this being practical mostly for advanced users doing tasks daily but not for someone like me, Tangem is fine for me. For me it would be just another device I'd have to keep charging and I have zero faith in lithium battery durability. Otherwise it looks like a nice product.

The hardware is closed source because chips require NDA by the manufacturer. Tangem has a third party security audit to ensure that there are no back doors.

I wish it had sd slot to update firmware offline, no point in airgap while you have to plug it to usb to update

IMO air gap is overrated anyways. But to your point, what you said isn’t exactly true. Onekey authenticates firmware using your device. So you can’t install a malicious firmware for example. So it doesn’t matter if you update the firmware using a USBC cable because you’ll never be able to install anything but authenticated Onekey firmware. Therefore, in this case, air gap still does its job of “reducing potential attack vectors” when transacting.

100% air gapped is a PITA anyway. I have 2, and have used a 3rd, and QR code scanning is rage-inducing. I finally realized that turning off the overhead light in my room helps, but even then it's frustrating AF scanning QR codes. Makes me sort of wonder about the built in light withe the OneKey Pro. Any glare on the screen tends to make the QR scanning worse. For the dynamic QR codes, it seems to help to pause the screen and scan each individually, but even then it just doesn't work half as well as it should. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22. Cleaning the lens doesn't help. Cleaning the wallet screen doesn't help. I've had QR code scanning issues with Safepal S1, Keystone Pro, and Keystone 3 Pro. The Keystone Pro I bought as a gift and only used it for less than an hour after the person I bought it for unboxed it and set it up. I used to be all about 100% air gapped as it just sounded way better in theory, but in practice OMG I just want to take a hammer to it. So frustrating.

Thanks! Ngrave Zero and the Pro have some similar security features (both offer passphrase option, are air gapped, and have biometric scanner) Ngrave you have to use air gapped, whereas the Pro is optional. The zero has an EAL7 certified operating system which I believe is the only wallet to offer that, and uses an EAL5 secure element to store private key/sensitive data. The pro has 4 EAL6 secure element chips, which is the only wallet to offer that. And it looks like the Pro supports more blockchain networks. Also, Ngrave is not open source like the Pro, but apparently they are working to gradually open source the hardware.

Just got mine. Waiting to hear your thoughts. For something that looks as beautiful on the outside, the user interface looked....less premium. Also setting up my fingerprints was not easy to do. Update: After playing around with this and understanding what it's meant to do, and understanding it's not supposed to be like an Apple iPod touch, or a mini phone, but REALLY understanding the purpose of it, I'd say it does it's job really well and I love the device.

Don’t know. I’m having a custom design made for the channel so it’s taking longer. The website says your wallet should ship within 7 days from the date you ordered it. I know they were backordered for a while, I’ll try to figure out if that’s still the case.

Agreed. You can however have multiple wallets on the device at the same time using the passphrase option, which is similar. But to your point, having the ability to import multiple seed phrases would be awesome.

@@DanielNeubauer IMO yes. Not just in the hardware itself, but the software. OneKey has its own software that is really good. Keystone does not have its own software. It relies on third-party wallets. Which is fine and secure, but just not as convenient as OneKey.

Actually not as big as you think. Fits in the palm of your hand. But yes, expensive compared to other wallets. That said, there’s a wallet for everyone. Some people are willing to pay a premium price for the newest iPhone, while others are content using their 5 year old android. Hardware wallets are simply another consumer product like smartphones.

Makes sense! I think they just want to be more relevant in general. Even older folks. I had someone comment on my Trezor video saying the screen was too small and he couldn’t read the text. In his case, a larger screen could’ve helped

I preordered mine and I used your code...I am a little skeptical if this hardware exists though because I have literally NOT SEEN any demos or videos from OneKey showing this device....and I guess I am burned from Ledger not shipping me my Ledger Stax, so any "preorders" of crypto wallets have made me jaded. I just fear I preordered a device that is still 2 years away from actually being made.

How is this tons better than a Keystone 3 Pro? Your title is, "OneKey Pro is the most "PRO" crypto wallet money can buy". My Keystone 3 Pro has all of these features, except a light, and cost me $100. Normal price is $130. 28% off for Ledger customers. The Keystone 3 Pro doesn't have 4 secure element chips, but it does have 3 and PCI level anti-tamper, as well as multi-wallet support (3 sets of seed phrases, and you can use one as a decoy wallet). The Keystone 3 pro also has a 4" screen vs the 3.5" screen of the OneKey Pro. Keystone 3 Pro also has fingerprint scanning, and the optional Shamir backup. The Keystone 3 Pro still doesn't have terrific battery life, but better than the Keystone Pro. What am I missing? Or is this just a click-baity title for views (which I can understand that, just asking). Personally, if I get another wallet I'm leaning pretty hard toward the D'Cent Biometric wallet. D'Cent also has an NFC card wallet, but it functions too much like the Tangem classic 1.0 wherein you cannot import or export seed phrases but instead uses another card as a backup. Not exactly the same as the Tangem 1.0, but close enough. Cheaper, though.

Couple things. I never said this was “better than Keystone.” BUT Onekey is MUCH more user friendly imo. You don’t have to use third party wallets to manage your coins because it has its own native OneKey app. And the OneKey app is awesome. So many features and simple to use. Plus, Onekey supports more assets. It’s also just a better quality build quality overall (plastic vs aluminum alloy) And the screen is better than Keystone imo But for the price, Keystone is a great buy and I still recommend it. It’s like buying a budget phone vs the newest iPhone. They both work and do similar things-all hardware wallets do.

OneKey allows user to add the latest meme coin or token which is not on their coin list, as long as OneKey has your coin’s blockchain on their firmware. Only other wallet which allows user to add a coin not on the coin list is BC Vault. Keystone does not allow user to add a custom coin - if your coin is not on their coin list, you cannot use the Keystone or most other wallets for that matter. You will have to wait for Keystone to add your coin.

OneKey app vs Trezor? Was going to buy the Trezor Safe 3, but it seems like the OneKey Pro has much more diversity, security and ease of use. Am a newb who needs a cold wallet and am thinking of the future. Not to keep buying new wallets. Thinking the OneKey Pro with its multiple functionalities would be better to grow your portfolio with. I would really appreciate your thoughts

@@user-sg5xu4ic2g Trezor Safe 3 is really good and simple to use. However, it doesn’t support as many tokens and you can’t use it with mobile devices. So, if you don’t mind using it with desktop and it supports the coins you hold, it’s a solid option. The Pro is more compatible as you can use it on desktop, mobile, or as a browser extension and supports various tokens, plus it has a much larger screen. And it does have additional security features like the 4 secure element chips, biometrics, and air gap mode. It does cost more however. Ultimately, both are great for beginners in my experience.

After using the Keystone 3 Pro I have come to love the use of 3rd party wallets over a native wallet. For starters, having to use Solflare for Solana made me unintentionally eligible for several airdrops lol. And second, not having a native app reduces the Keystones attack surface. I’ve used the OneKey app with my OneKey Classic and I’m underwhelmed by it to be honest. I think SafePals native wallet app is far better.
