Mr. Ollero seems to be a cool dude, with LOADS of input on the subject matter, which I find lacking in other talk show hosts. Perhaps the only downside is that he doesn't know HOW and WHEN to STFU. One News Ph should changed the title to: The Medyo Serious Talk Show with host AND GUEST Red Ollero, and when they do, I'll come back and delete this comment.

Yung Host naman sana hinayaan nya matapos si Raimund mag saliata or magpaliwanag, sinasabayan nya kasi, ayos lang kung parang nag dedead-air si Raimund, na para bang he was looking for the right word/words hindi naman. Hoping for the better sa Host, sa style ng Hosting nya, lalong lalo na sa future guest nya. Let the guest talk at patapusin nya mag salita, hindi yung nag sasalita pa yungg guest nya eh sasabayan nyo ito. I'm not attacking the host, I don't know him, but I know the OG Raimund Marasigan, he's the reason I watched this interview/podcast, and I want to hear his stories...

Totoo yung mga resurgence ng mga classic bands nung mid 2000s, good example nga dyan ganya ng nabanggit ni Sir Raims is yung Mayonnaise which for the longest time naging viral ulit yung mga gems nila gaya ng Bakit Part2 at Jopay nung mga banda 2022-2023, so nagbigay sa artists ng mga mas maraming gig. Isa rin naobserved ko as a fan ang laki nga ng effect ng Tiktok, so this year I attended Rico Blanco's 4 consecutive gigs for the past 4 months simula nung Rivermaya Reunion Concert nung February, tas sa La Salle Dasma nung March, sa Clark Aurora nung April and this month May sa Makati Circus, one thing na naobserved ko is kahit 2005 pa yung You'll Be Safe Here na kanta, andaming young audience na kabisado yung kanta na hindi pa pinapanganak nung 2005 grabe talaga yung effect ng Tiktok since may mga old clips na nagtrending si Koriks, kaya OPM is prospering dahil yung mga old gems ng mga artist is narerediscover ulit ng younger generations and maraming mga artists na iba ibang genre pero nagkocollab, andaming flavor ng music ngayon napakaswerte namin salamat sa mga OPM legends na katulad nila Sir Raims

matalino to si sir Red e, pero di mo kelangan patunayan yan kay sir Raims. wag mo sana salubungin ng personal experiences mo yung mga sagot ni sir Raims, nag mumukha tuloy na rebuttal yung mga sinasabi mo habang sumasagot Siya sa mga tanong mo. parang nasisira yung momentum nya. try to listen more, stop being over interactive for a moment and surely you'll enjoy it more.

BAMBOO 2003-2011 from rock, pop, rap, to jazz. Playing soft strings and lead guitars, to trumpets. PH band nowadays, some, iisa lang ang genre/ tono. Ayaw ko lang yung mga bumibirit na pop at heavy metal. Gary V, Freestyle, Southborder to name a few. Gusto ko ang ibang kanta ng slapshock, urbandub, franco at wolfgang. Magagaling ang mga artists natin ngayon sa scene ng rap at hiphop. Mabuhay! Peace. Love. Music.

Just let the guest promote his upcoming shows. Let him tell the viewers when the shows are going to be... don't cut him off by saying "everyone knows" because listen, NOT EVERYONE KNOWS. It might be the first time some people have heard that the artist is gonna have an upcoming gig. When you're in the media or in any platform where the public is listening or watching you, NEVER assume they know everything, and don't talk down to them either. Brilliant guest, awesome topic, but I just had to get this off my chest.

For a person who says he thoroughly researched the origins of Pinoy stand-up comedy, I am appalled that he forgot a lot of the greats by eliminating them right away because they "did not define themselves" or did not fit into the cookie-cutter standard of Western stand-up. He doesn't even know Subas Herrero and Noel Trinidad. He also forgot Jon Santos. He is an impersonator but his sets had a script. What about the gay crossdressing impersonators in karaoke bars? The thing about the origins of Pinoy comedy is that it did not fit into the mold of Western stand-up comedy. It had its own flavor, being a mix of stand-up and singing. Still, these comedians had a standard script when they performed.

Hindi naman namin hanap na mala lola amor or sobrang linis tumugtog na eheads. Hanap namin yung bandang same feeling na para ka lang nagjajamming sa kalye. Yung ganung nostalgia. Kasi natuto kami mag gitara dahil sa style niyo hindi naman dahil sa mga bagong banda now. Tsaka di naman kayong new formed bands. 😂
