The folks over at OneOdio decided to send us over a pair of their headphones. The OneOdio Pro-30 Studio Headphones. We haven't reviewed a pair of wired headphones for a long time, so we were curious to see how a $49 set of studio headphones could sound. And the sound from the OneOdio Pro-30 Studio Headphones is pretty surprising. Now these are definitely light and plastic feeling set of headphones, but the OneOdio Pro-30 Studio Headphones do feel very comfortable and as far as we can tell should have some good longevity to them. Say man I just got mine today and I'm really happy with these headphones but I do have a question for you. Since the ear pads are so thick and cushiony have you had any problems with the cushions starting to crack? That's a problem with many of these big cushion headphones is that the the leather or pleather or whatever material they're made out of begins to crack. Have you experienced that at all?

Hey pal, I needed a set of wired headphones to tie into my bass amp for practice. I ordered these on Amazon 25 minutes ago. You made me feel good about my purchase! I'll let you know how ever fair. My amp has a input for music that blends with what I play then out to headphones etc...great setup. Btw, I like your style. No crap, no lectures, your just like anyone who opens up a box of new gear, and talks about it. Thanks for taking the time to make this vid. B

Been a gigging DJ for over 3 decades now. Gone through scads of headphones, including different iterations of this brand. The sound is on par with just about any high end headphones a DJ or audiophile would need. But EVERY pair I've owned, the plastic hinge/swivel where the cup meets the padded headband has broken on 4 different ones. Luckily, its right under warranty, but their service dept is slow to react to warranty claims. If used gently and not roughed up (I'm probably too rough on my gear) they should last the average user a long time. I do wish they would make an all-metal version, though.

No they’re not. That’s just blatantly false. Having owned Sennheiser HD600, Fidelio X2HR, Fidelio X3, any Planar Magnetic, he’ll, even the Audio Technica M40s I can say that I have heard these and they are not “on par” with any sound an audiophile would need.

hello I wanted to know how the headphones behave with background noise in the house? I live in a fairly noisy environment and I was looking for headphones at a good price without spending too much (I use them from a desktop PC and I do not have the integrated wireless / bluetooth card and I am having some problems in looking for headphones that have the cable and anc)

Just found these used on Amazon for only $19 so had to try them. I've tried several headphones, some cheap, and some up to $400. These, honestly, are some of the best headphones I've ever heard. The detail and clarity of the sound is top notch! The bass is tight and I'm hearing some details I hadn't picked up before in other headphones. They aren't the greatest quality build, but like he said, they are pretty light. Easily one of the most comfortable sets of headphones I've worn. I'm pretty amazed, almost mad that they sound so good when I've spent hundreds of dollars more on other headphones, that when I compare to the sound of these Studio 30s, I honestly don't like them as much. Go ahead and get them. They sound better than whatever they are going for at full price, no matter who the retailer is. I got very lucky finding them so cheap and used on Amazon. They arrived in nearly new condition for that price!

@@4nomaIythey could be. Same paper specs as most "gamer" headsets, but without a mic. It could be lacking in the mids cause of the so called V shape eq in the headset, but you could get passed it with your own eq to balance it, if you're on PC of course. Most $230 gamer headsets are 50mm with 20hz-35kz range. These do have probably higher resistance at 38 ohms. But seem to drive fine without an amp.

Okay man, I'm trusting your review. Just ordered a pair using the promo code only cost $32 w/free shipping. Not a risk at that price. I realize they're plastic but hoping the sound quality is as good as you make it seem to be. Only using them to listen to music so they wont be taking a beating. The plugin cables look to be decent quality, which I'm hoping they are. It's getting harder to find wired headphones with a decent plug-in cable...most of them are thinner than speaker wire and just as stiff.

You're not going to believe this but I already received my headphones today. I barely ordered them a couple of days ago and I elected the free delivery which was supposed to be about 2 weeks and instead it arrived in 2 days. Freaking unbelievable. It arrived but it didn't include the headphone stand and it didn't include the little disc whatever that was but it did include the pouch and the two cables. And I have to say I am extremely happy with the quality of the sound and the comfort of the headphones. You are absolutely right about them being extremely comfortable. I used to be a DJ and these headphones have excellent sound quality. I'll be using them primarily to listen to music on my cell phone and since my cell phone has an equalizer option which I'm sure many others do you can really take full advantage of the quality of the audio. Thank you for your review it's what inspired me to order these headphones and I can tell you I'm extremely happy. Excellent job bro thank you so much!

I would be able to use these with my hearing aids so that would be great. Then I can game or watch Netflix without someone (guess who), yelling at me to 'TURN THAT DOWN". Reasonably priced and the deal for the second set is nice. Glad they put out a good sound. The mystery item is a secret decoder ring! The secret message is: "Eat your Ovaltine!".

Awesome video review! I own a pair of the OneOdio. I have the Pro-50, and they can kick major ass and it's way better than the Pro-30. I had them since last year and they are still kicking. The sound is amazing when I am listening to music or on my laptop computer. Please do a review of the Pro-50. It is getting major responses from headphone fans around the world.

one more point i wanna point out is that the studio term they used in the product description only refers to the audio jack compatibility and not the actual sound quality because im sure actual STUDIO purpose headphones sound way better.

@@gregtoope i've found out the issue. Windows like updated my audio drivers without telling me. which rendered my headphone jacks useless. i just had to roll back the Audio drivers.

Looks like a good value set of cans. I find my ears get sweaty with closed cans. I prefer the openness and sound stage of open backs. I get less ear fatigue during long listening sessions. Audio is a slippery slope hobby 😎
