Oneonta Gorge, Columbia River Gorge, Oregon | Two Girls Hiking

9 жыл бұрынWe got up at 5am to head out to Oneonta Gorge, and had the place all to ourselves! One of the biggest complaints about this trail is how over crowded it is, so we were really happy to experience it without a bunch of other people. :) The water was freezing, but it was such an adventure! We had a blast, and hope you enjoy the video. :)

LOL!! It was super cold. Since it was early in the morning it made it even worse, but you'll just have to bring your wetsuits next time you're up. ;) XOXO

I have always heard it's a short, easy hike, other than the rocks and log jam~! Would love to try it, but probably not in the best of shape right now for log climbing. lol. LOVED it though. Thnaks for posting!

I enjoyed the video. Could you recommend a place to hike into a spend the night in the gorge? Comfortable up to 15 miles each way.

How tall are you guys? My bf wants me to do this hike tomorrow and I am NOT into it. Plus I'm 5'2"... My lips turn blue after 20 minutes in just a cool pond too.

What month did you do this? I will be heading there in August (I am Australian so I don't like cold very much). Do you have any favourite must do hikes in the Gorge area?

***** This was back in August last year, right at the end, and it was coooooooold. It's always going to be cold, but we will get some really hot days this summer and the cold water might feel good. :D In the gorge, I LOVE Eagle Creek, Wakeena-Multnomah, and Angel's Rest!

As of two weeks the old historic Highway it will not be the same for at least 50 years it is burnt out and starting to have Rock Falls landslides is very disheartening for people who have been there most of their lives such as myself

I live 5 min from this place. tourists blow this place way up in summer. it's horrible go in winter and enjoy the sight without 1000 people ruining it
