I don't know why the option for 3rd party icon pack does not appear in his device. Saw it in the OP12 here in Romania, and I also have it on my old 8T that is still on Oxygen OS 13 (had it on the stock Oxygen OS 11 that the phone had out of the box).

Better than Samsung's, as a previous s23 ultra owner I prefer the side bar of the One plus 12 Because it has many features Like drag and drop anything you want and easier faster and smoother than Samsung In brief if you are a samsung user, u will prefer the one plus side bar The whole UI is smooth tbh even better than iphones and pixel.

@@jmyers1573 2 months experience, and I can say I love the haptics I love the whole phone tbh It feels cool But my only problem is the brightness since I live in a sunny place I kinda prefer the 24 ultra brightness but I gave up on that specific feature because I hated the s24 ultra It's the s23 ultra with higher peak brightness and that's it Even the cameras yes cameras are different but same processing mentality which I don't like I prefer the cinematic processing of the oneplus 12 Also my other issue here in my country if I sell my oneplus 12 next year It would cost nothing compared to what I paid and I actually paid 1200$ for the chinese version and I changed the rom to global for 13$. Not sure if it was worth it, but again I am that type of person who changes his phone every 6 months. The other option that I stop this dumb mentality and start owning a phone for 4 years then it would be kinda worth it. Still would cost nothing when I sell it tbh.

@@Josh_Quinonez And no with the AOD off? That is pretty frustrating for a someone like be coming from a Samsung phone...

It's similar like Samsung in that if the phone has been sitting flat for a while it goes away. You physically have to pick the phone up to wake the finer print sensor. Also if the phone sits at night not plugged it the AOD will completely turn off. It took mine a couple of days before it did. It simply to save battery. When you pick it up it all wakes back up. No gripes from me

@@1911loaded Samsung has a option to make the fingerprint reader active all the time. Very useful.

@j8no5zw6u- bruh just pick up or wake your phone it takes a fraction of a second, also samsung doesn't come with a cool customisable animation or a cool sound with the fingerprint sensor.

Honor has better battery and really good cameras but the Oneplus has better software. They are both fantastic phones.

Agree, any & all videos need timestamps, the one issue I am having is: OnePlus 12R USB default configuration setting goes back to charging when I disconnect the USB cable from my computer. How do you make the File Transfer the permanent setting without having to enable it each time you disconnect the cable from the computer?
