I want to state this thing . This problem of animation missing was in oppo reno 6 and other phones also after the color os 12 update . I personally felt this very very annoying and ruins the experience. Unfortunately reno 6 after opening camera started to vibrate and service centre also didn't helped since the warranty was out 2 days ago . So i sold that . But , this amimation lag and missing issue is very bad . And i praise you pointing this out . ❤

Sir Please make a video on this...I think people should know! I'm a Nothing Phone 2 use and her even lags on such a High end device! Although it got fixed now! What's going on with the 4K and HDR videos on KZfaq? - Google recently released a server side update for KZfaq which changes the encoder to av1. Since Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and below doesn't have hardware decoding capabilities, it falls back to software decoding. That makes high quality and/or HDR videos to lag. Also it's inefficient so the device heats more and uses more battery. - Not all of the users are affected since this is an A/B testing release. So it makes no sense to compare yours with others here. Why? - It saves Google some bandwidth and money. Is there any workaround to force the vp9 encoder? - No, at least not now. It is a server side change so some of the users still have the vp9 encoder and some of them have av1. - Factory resetting the device or clearing data of KZfaq may revert the change for a small time window but it will be av1 back again so DO NOT reset your device just for this. - We will share if there will be anything regarding this. Watching 2K and 4K in 1080p display - KZfaq does offer better bitrate for higher resolutions even if the display isn't capable of it so it actually matters a little but you're probably not going to notice anything major so it is recommended to watch in 1080p. Recent changes - Google now uses VLC's more efficient software decoding method. It works better than the old av1 implementation but still not as good as vp9. 4K non HDR videos should play okay but HDR will still shutter. - Google seems to revert all the changes after users feedback but we don't know if they're going to try this again in future.

The OS issue you explained persist between all Color OS version (oxygen OS, realme ui and color os itself), i request you to tag the color os team to look into it in future releases. Bcoz OOS is basically Color OS.

Please tell moto to bring back the old Peek Display animation in Moto Edge 40 Android 14 update. Peek Display animation was like a redish light rotating around the clock where we can set 3 different types of clock.

It's not just Oneplus, my new IQOO Z9 also gives inconsistent animations. Though not always but it slows down during 1440p 60fps videos. The animation and unlock takes a noticeable 1 to 2 sec. This is new chipset and they don't optimise enough just want to release the new phone. Even after 2 updates nothing improved.

Coming to the OnePlus Nord CE4

4k video frame drop or 1080p video on 2x have frame drop, even 720p 60fps video have audio sync issue sometimes on new phones. I watch video either on 2x or 3x, so have to play at 720p only.
