The captions are there they're just listed as being Korean ㅠㅠ It's interesting you say that we don't get much extended Xion parts in this because this is like the most parts he's ever had in a title track. He has very limited parts by choice, but his confidence has improved in leaps and bounds so we're starting to see him get more and more lines in songs. Saw someone say somewhere that Oneus are concept chameleons and I couldn't agree more. They're always switching it up, and they're always nailing it. Definitely recommend checking out a live stage. Their comeback on MCountdown was great; they were able to really play around with how they used the stage because they didn't have to perform for a live audience. As for the album, I loved it, short as it was. One of the songs is a rock version of Valkyrie fans have heard at performances before, and another song was an extended version of a song off of Devil, so technically we only got 3 new songs. Ultimately, I'd recommend you do an album reaction for Devil over Binary Code, at least until you have more time to dive into the rest of Oneus' discography.

For the album, Ravn participated in the lyrics of all the songs and also compose Polarity (IN TWO DAYS! and he did the line distribution too. They performed it!) and Leedo participated in lyrics of 4/5 songs ;) Ravn and Leedo participated since predebut in lyrics and composition of their songs and Seoho start in Lived era.

it's pretty fitting that "Valkyrie (rock ver.)" is on this mini album since this MV reminds me of "Valkyrie", since they're both set-based and playing with all the lights XD

i noticed no one else talking about this so when you mentioned xion only getting a few transition lines, it's not because the company despises him or something (actually ravn did the line dist. for this song so that doesn't even apply), he's just not too confident in his voice stability and gets nervous in performances. it's actually really sweet that the members respect his feelings. if you listened to their other title tracks (which i'm assuming you have because of the references you made), he doesn't usually get that many lines, but he's building up his confidence and every cb he usually gets more lines that the last :)

i also don't know *too* much abt them besides names and some title tracks, but! i agree that hwanwoong is fabulous -- he's so charismatic and seems so fun! also seoho i remember just from 'no diggity,' he has that beautiful melody pre-chorus part!

It took me a long time to know Seoho. It was Come Back Home that made him stood out for me. ahahaha Keonhee has a little pouty lips and elven ears. ehehe oh he cried when the staff told them their song is #1 in Geon. Hwanwoong I think said (in Studio Moon Night) that they immediately did the choreo for this after No Diggity. They choose No Diggty to come out first.

the rap after the vocal bridge is one of my favorite song structures ever, the only other group i know who does this pretty often is SuperM

I'm sure you know this because of the guide, but Oneus members are all all rounders. Reminds me of the time I fell for Ravn's vocals but he turned out to be the rapper.

ONEUS really never disappoint. Black Mirror with GFRIEND's MAGO are easily the best retro concepts, like THIS is how you do it!! Insane

Love this comeback, so funky. Much much better than No Diggity, which in my opinion was a collection of bits pretending to be a cohesive song (and they forgot the melody), but Black Mirror is just Soooooo good.

I'm not super familiar with MJ myself I mostly know this because of Dumb Dumb by Red Velvet cuz they do the same thing, but Ravn mentions a few MJ songs in his rap parts. I know "Man In The Mirror" is one and I'm pretty sure "Bad" or "She's Bad" is one?

This might help to distinguish between Seoho and Keonhee. Their eyes are very different. Seoho has slanted eyes compared to all the members, while Keonhee has wide downturned eyes.😊
