It was your review of the pint x that inspired me to buy my first onewheel and it now has nearly 1400 miles since December. Luckily, your review of the GT came after their improved firmware update and I ordered it yesterday from FM. I am confident again that I will not be disappointed. Great video as always! Edited my comment because I called this guy a shill, confused him with "Matti Haapoja" as they're both big youtubers that made OW content before. Matti essentially had a straight up onewheel ad guised as a youtube video. Read half his comments on Mattis GT video and you'll know what I mean. @@JesseDriftwood hey man I like your film making skills but in your own OW video you just seem to disregard any of the important criticism. Not a conspiracy that FM only sponsors people that will ONLY focus on what's right with their product. Not all companies do that and it's especially unwelcoming with a product that's got flaws which could harm a bystander and lead to a personal injury lawsuit for using the flawed product as intended

@@AuRowe I don’t know what you’re talking about but I’ve never been sponsored by Onewheel at all. The only time I agreed to make a video for them was when I was invited to test out the OG pint before it was released. I make whatever videos I want to make and have absolutely no contact with FM about them. I’m not even really sure what you mean about disregarding criticisms? I made a video when they discontinued the XR and said only what I think about only what I knew. I wasn’t persuaded to do anything and I’ll happily admit there could be more to the story that I just don’t know about, but then how could I comment on them? Don’t try and compliment my videos after you start a convo calling me a shill. What a weird thing to do.

The GT is a commuters dream, I'm getting on to save on gas ⛽️. I can go back and forth to the store, and it's easy to carry and store.

Sounds more like an ad than nothing else. You don't address the countless numbers of ghosting issues that have been reported, nor the predatory behavior of FM towards reparability of the board. You sound like you live in the UK, have fun when your board brakes down and you have to send it back to the only place in the world that can repair your board without bricking it mate.

Exactly, soon as I saw Jesse driftwood who is more of a FM cultist than any tech KZfaqr is an Apple cultist, I knew it's an ad. FM would rather gaslight their own community and push their flawed product. Even Linus Tech Tips with 14 MILLION subs has a video "DO NOT BUY A ONEWHEEL". I have Pint X and an XR but am waiting till Vesc gets advanced enough so at least these aren't e-waste. Utter disgrace these people are towards REAL REVIEWERS!

Bro I'm 108lbs and I'm able to get 20 to 30 miles on my xr,I bet I could get around 45 or 50 miles on a gt,omg I'd probably sell my car 😆

My riding style definitely doesn’t help with range, but I have been achieving double my XR range so it’s a HUGE upgrade ⚡️⚡️

Would you consider those life savers a must have? ,or is that more if you do tricks and drops.I just don’t think I will be doing much freestyle more riding in city conditions maybe some nudging or mini bonks.Are rim saver’s recommended when nudging or small bonks.I’m barely learning off many years of Eskate/skateboarding. The gt feels like a snowboard with the heel toe steering.

Must be nice to be so light. I cant do hardly any of the shit you can. I need flight fins in order to get lift over a few inches. shouldve applied that to your review. I feel toque loss below 60% all the time and it over powers pretty easily at my weight no matter what Im doing. I cant go above 22 mph to save my life. The board physically will not let me go faster. I feel it surging. Im a big boy at 250

I have a GT and the treaded is SUPER firm. I honestly don’t care bc I don’t ride crazy hard but if you ride quickly and hard, it’s a little bouncy

@@asacrane6608 thx for your reply...Well after some digging i am not Sure if getting an xr ( i am riding the ow+ for some years now) would be the better option , as many mentioned feeling uncomfy on the gt given the its hight and the shape of the tyre....but i really would like to have the Extra tourque and Punch from the gt...hmmm

@@nicvandersan841 If you want the GT go for it. It’s actually really stable feeling for me and I really like it. If you can find someone with a GT to try that would also help. I broke my collarbone on my pint a couple weeks ago so I’ve only rode my GT 11 miles in grass. I hope this helps. #stoponewheelhate

While this is a very pretty video, the misuse of the technical phrases steered it towards more of an advertisement and away from a review. A wonderful effort and feat of video production value. I just wish there was more actually said about the machine in a greater context.

Awesome film! The Whole truth... XR = Time Machine / GT = Time BOMB! ... If its not one of several inherent GT faults that will get you, when your battery needs repair/replace try unplugging it and ordering replacement components from FM ... XR => VESC = All repair/replacement components available and affordable, more power than GT, huge range of custom options...

Obviously! It's turning into a communist or religious style cult. Either "believe in" the brand (not product, as overwhelming majority of us OW addicts HATE Future Motion) as if they're some sort of perfect God with no flaws, or get ousted from FM's horizons. Go watch Linus Tech Tips (14 million KZfaq subs) recent video called: "DO NOT BUY A ONEWHEEL!" addressing how this company, by comparison, makes Apple look like a righteous company
