I think you're the best air travel vlogger on YT. The full equation of knowledgeable, high-quality content, cute, charismatic + positive. When you make note of a negative issue, you present it a informative and joking manner that never seems like bitching. The coat-hooks (your distinctive signature), make people who watch your videos regularly feel like they're an insider. Even people who fly and post about more coveted products constantly, cannot match the beautiful mood your videos exude!

Thanks Diane! Their fares are very competitive especially between Bangkok/Singapore and Europe. But flights are daily so it can be hard to figure out a date, easier if you don’t mind a stopover in Bahrain😊

It does look like and give you the feeling you are on a luxury private jet, way better than l imagined! They give you Pj and Slippers but no blanket on a 7hr flight l agree it's inexcusable, l wouldn't sit in my Pj sans blanket. The amenity kit is beautiful, love the horse as well. I'd fly on Gulf Air just for the amenity kit and the salt and pepper shakers (which would accidentally fall into my bag😉). You know that ever popular Middle Eastern dish "Salmon Roll" 🤪 (just a joke) the meal looked top notch although so did the Hainanese Chicken rice in the lounge 👌 My first time seeing a Gulf Air review and l loved every minute of this review👍

OMG it was so embarrassing when I realised she said salmon🤣🤣 Even in Cantonese, we pronounce it as ‘sa mun’, almost like English, so any variation would confuse me😅 I would LOVE to steal Virgin Atlantic’s salt and pepper shakers, they are mini planes! So many good food in this video haha! Hainanese chicken rice and the steak!!

That's an amazing business class product on Gulf Air's B787-9. The meals and the seat were excellent. But I just think there's no excuse for the lack of blankets on a 7-hour flight...

Very interesting video, Mr Wong: Gulf appeared better than I expected them to be, perhaps overshadowed by Emirates. I was in Bahrain in 1979 and just recall tones of people trying to sell me gold. Please remember some of your audience is elderly and easily confused. You are a fixed point in time, Thursday, like Dr Who. Still, good to enjoy a bonus addition but I may need an extra pill!

Just subscribed. 2nd review on Gulf Air I watched from you. Your report is done well and natural. I follow Non Stop Dan and Sam Chu but you hold your own up against them. I fly business class quite a bit and am based out of BKK so have nearly flown all the ME airlines. Just booked GF on your recommendation for next flight to Italy. I’ll be getting back to you with my thoughts.

A few days ago I had the same seat BAH to BKK. Maybe not the same aircraft but I recognise two of the flight crew. You missed the extra fold down seat in the loo. I suppose it helps if you're getting changed. This is a great review of a quality airline.

I had very good experience on Gulf Air having flown from Dubai to Lanarca (Cyprus) vv. with a brief stopover in Bahrain years ago. The hot& cold towels were actually a bonus of service onboard during this time. Recommend you to take Oman Air, another Mid-East airlines with good reputations overshadowed by giants like Emirates & Qatar. Hope to fly on GulfAir's biz class next time.

EVA (Star Alliance) has a lounge at BKK. It's one of my favorite because it is usually not crowded and has a wide offering of food and desserts. Not sure if it has re-opened.

it's not unfortunately, Taiwan hasn't fully reopened yet so EVA isn't flying much. AFAIK only the ones in Taipei are open

Nicely done 👍… Salmon.. the fish 😂 seats and cabin configuration looks very similar to that used by JAL on their 789. Query whether ppl actually use the bum washing function of the lav? 🤔 Compare to their neighbours, Bahrain isn’t really “oil rich” though unfortunately …

31:21, Oh nice that it's your 1st time swimming in a sunny hot weather in Bahrain. Last July, my family swim on the roof of a swimming pool on top of Indigo hotel in Patong beach, Phuket and that time, it's sunny and hot, 33 degrees Celsius. Indigo's Patong beach is a nice and 5 star hotel and it's good to stay for 4 to 5 nights.

Hi Jayden. Great trip report. It's nice to see a steak cooked well done , and still be tender ! Yuk 🤮 !!! Whatever that was on the mirror in the loo....the culprit should have cleaned it up !. ( Don't worry, I know it wasn't you). Are you aware for the first couple of minutes there is a " blur" on the video ? It did correct itself, but not sure what was happening.

here is a chef advice. If you want a tender steak inflight, you HAVE to have the sauce on it. Its otherwise way too easy for the to dry it out and make it welldone. More often than not, this is the case in air!

what a great flight. though the woman who handed back your passport at the start of the video in Bangkok, didnt even give eye to eye contact, just stretched out her hand towards you, which i thought was rude. your meals in flight looked amazing and im sure DID taste delish. how long did you stay in Bahrain, and what a view from your hotel... which btw.. what was the name of your hotel you stayed in... its magnificent. enjoy yrself

oh yes haha the lady at the boarding hate🤣🫣 I was only in Bahrain for 24 hours. I already had other flights booked within Asia and back to Australia (this was a spontaneous booking from Bangkok to Bahrain and back). And yep it was Hilton Garden Inn :)

Nice video somehow despite their richness the cabin does not look classy and no blanket? Also no separate check in row? Overall not so impressive however presentation of meals look good...not surprising they have not made an profit since 2011...❤️👏😂

Hi Jayden. It's not just you sweating at BKK airport. This airport has the worst air-conditioning system; and combined with all that clear glass panelling under a tropical sun.....well you can guess the sauna-like conditions inside. I hate it. This is why I avoid BKK in favour of SIN and KUL.

Hey Jayden your funny about you said a guy next to me is a coughing and even not wearing a mask Also disgusting either hand soap or lotion is on one of the lavatories mirror as well!. So therefore since you have made my day as far now so I wish we were brothers since your funny!. When you do not have your masks on then your quite adorable and quite cute!.
