When i was sooo sick with covid about 2 weeks in i remembered ONIONS! chopped onions ate a plate of them, since i had covid i couldnt taste them..lol next day i was 50% better. Did the same thing for 3 days. No more covid!! Too bad i had to suffer for the first two weeks because i wasnt thinking about onions..haha

This is hilarious bc since I had Covid nearly 2 years ago, onions (and other foods) smell and taste like roadkill or sewage… I can’t stand them!!! Praying my taste goes back to normal before this winter’s cold and flu season!

I've never done it that way, but will try next time. Onions always work for us too. I cut them in half and wrap in foil then bake for 10 minutes or so to warm them up. Place the flat side of the onion against the hurting ear with a paper towel in between and a cloth on top (to hold the warmth in). An hour or two later... all better. Best if you catch the earache early. Looking forward to starting your school classes in the next few weeks.

Garlic oil works just as well. I prefer onion only because it's more watery and clean up is easier when it rolls down your neck afterward. :0) Doc Jones homegrownherbalist.net/about-the-school/

My 8yo woke up crying with a sore ear at midnight 3 nights ago… used the garlic press to get some onion juice, poured it in his ear… he was still complaining next morning so I repeated the process using the couch and a Pokémon show, earache fixed. First one we’ve had with our boy- Thank goodness for Doc Jones though! Saved me $80 in a doctor visit, hubby thought I’d gone mad but he’s learning not to question his crazy wife’s witch doctor remedies 😆

I enjoy your videos greatly, and I have learned a lot. I have 3 questions. How much onion juice do you put in the ear? How long do you leave it in the ear? Do you have the child roll on their otherside for the onion juice to drain out? Thank you.
@HomeGrownHerbalist10 ай бұрын
Fill up the ear canal. It only takes a few drops to do that. When the kid stands up, it'll all roll out. I've never thought about how long I leave it in...It usually starts working pretty quickly. Even after the kid gets up and it all rolls out, there's enough residual to keep doing the job for some time. I've never had to do it twice on the same case. I've been looking at how I can raise many of these herbs in a more controlled way. For instance onions would be easy to lay out. When you take a root cutting on a deep tap root is that quality going to be better than if you had the plant in a raised bed without such a developed root?

😂😂😂, you are funny! I wish I knew that when my son was little and even for myself. You go to the doctor and they send you to a ear specialist, so hard to see that is a ear infection, I could have tell them that.,.. Now in days dentists are divided in so many categories, I called a dentist office for a cavity and they said that they are not doing root canal, just crowns. Ridiculous! Specialists for everything (every part of your body) and none of them know what to do...😱😢 Thanks so much!
