the move evolution is based off damage dealt with that strike so if you knock someone out with a strike increases a lot

There’s 20 prestiges and everytime to prestige you get +100 evolution points limit on the character. So prestige 20 is 3000 evolution points you can spend on attributes and moves instead of the base 1000

I believe the way to upgrade your moves in UFC 5 is by dealing damage with them, rather than just using them. Additionally, getting knockdowns or knockouts with specific moves seems to grant extra XP for that particular move. No, you don’t lose progress on the move; it only resets through prestige.

Hey pry been playing this mode since season 1 bc it had me hyped when they announced it, I'm at prestige 10 rn and 3 star (550/2000 Evo points). Evolving let's u use more 100 more Evo points per prestige and I think if u also master a move you bought then that move will stay unlocked for free, at least it's suppose to and it also doesn't start higher, whenever you prestige you reset everything so all level 1 moves depending on your build, and all level 2 stats. The matchmaking is pretty solid once I reset I mostly played 3.5 stars or less from div8-20, when I was 4.5 star I played mostly 4-5 stars div 18-20. You also do not lose points from not using moves

The games matches you with a similar rated player you can see their rating down low in the matchmaking screen before the match loads. Also maxed out evolution on character won’t make them five star that’s what the prestige is for,so you can increase the max amount of points you can put into your fighter

Prestige also lets you use more of the perk slots

Prestige system allows more points for example you start off at 1000. That’s the maximum amount of points you can put into your character until you Prestige. Each prestige adds 100 points to your max.

Honestly if the devs were competent they would have known to capitalize on this mode. Unfortunately it seems like this series only gets D-level leadership after UFC3. What a waste.

Prestige 3? I'm 6 working on saving points for 10. The Prestige is a Double edge sword just get more points but everything is reset that's why I save points until i reach x amount of points to Prestige multiple times this build on that caf for another 5 Prestiges

Once you prestige you get an extra 100 points to spend. instead of 1000 you go up to 1100 gotta restart and all moves go back to 2 stars. I usually just build up another 1000 evo points before prestiging again so you dont lose anything. you wont be good till prestige 5-6 levels to get stuff maxed out. just put in punch power/speed, kick power/speed, chin, and cardio and buy all the sub moves you'll be unstoppable. almost everyone you"ll face will have a 2 star body and leg health. trust me max out kick power and work the body and legs they would be done by round 2.

I understand it’s a MMA game but how is a player shooting a take down back to back to back fun and the worst part about it is your stamina drains regardless and players exploit the takedowns now to drain stamina

I guess you didn’t know . Prestiging only allows you to spend 100 more evolution points. It resets your move stars so there’s no point because there’s barely anyone playing at the high star levels. Also your moves don’t decay.

The only point of Prestiging in Online Career is that there is an achievement on Xbox and a Trophy for doing it on Playstation. That's about it. Only reason I did it personally.

Pry you’re focusing on the fact that your using a 3 star fighter too much. 1 there’s a matchmaking filter for CAFs, so as a 3 star you won’t be fighting anyone over 4. 2 you earn more points if you beat someone with a higher star CAF than you. Considering you’re a top level player, this is gonna be a benefit to you

Ea made this game for kids with short attention span, ufc is a sport of patience and smart decisions, fakes should be able to be implemented but you can’t fake the game is so rushed and arcade mode. Sim mode would save the game, leave arcade for spammers.
