In the first interview Nick shares the story behind “For What You Dream Of”, a big classic he did with John Digweed under the project name Bedrock. The Northern Exposure remix of "A Prayer To The Music" by Marco Polo (from 1995) is my favourite of Nick's remix collaborations with Mr Digweed. Jaw-droppingly gorgeous and timeless. I've been listening to a lot of my favorites from the mid 90s progressive/epic house era and it's amazing how few have aged well. There's something about Nick's production style and sensibilities that have a touch of total class and still sound SO fresh in 2023. Cheers Nick! (Col, FM-84)

heel benieuwd ernaar, Heaven scent is echt een bom en speelde ik ook nog toen ik nog progressive speelde. "For what you dream of" ken ik wel niet. Eventjes opgezocht en doet mij geen belleke rinkelen, wel goede schijf!

Hellooo nick you Legend! I recall reaching out to you back in the day asking about Cabala - Dark Blue ! you came back to me saying I might have it on DAT tape and two weeks later I could purchase it from a digital store which I forgot the name off :) Legend and still loving your label and cant wait to hear and see the interview !!!

Heaven scent is such a good classic. Think i first heard it in the movie Groove with Digweed from 2000 if i'm not wrong.

No, sorry; When I do interviews I always try to focus on stories about big classics / hits / tracks that are the most known by a wider audience. There was only time for 2 interviews, so I picked the 2 big Bedrock classics, which happen to be my personal favorites as well. Doesn't mean I don't like “lesser known” tracks, but those interviews simply don't get enough views / attention to make it worth the travel / edit time and money I invest in the vlogs. This is just a hobby for me, so I have to be very picky about what I do ;-)
