First of all i want to say , you are the best teacher ever. Huge respect to you for your valuable time to give us . I have lived in Spain for 9 years but last few years i have been living in Palma . This is one of the island of Spain. And i work as a waiter in the restaurant and i felt i need to learn English to speak with the customer. Hi. Greg I have to admit you although I have learned English for over 6 years in Poland and l have been living in UK for 18 years from your lessons I finally understood the difference of this 2 tenses. I used to use Perfect Continuous speaking with English people but once they looked at me very strange and stopped talking I felt very confused about using these two tenses and until now. Thanks. Anyone, please, explain me one point. It was said that there are two verbs, which can be used both in past simple and present perfect: "to live" and to work". But as an example Greg gives a verb "to teach" as well. "I have been teaching for 3 years" and "I have taught for 3 years". Why? Is it an exception too?
