Angel, Fleurs d’oranger, and Salome come as no surprise. I’d love to get my nose on Siren by Mythologia. My third (yes, third😂) scent of the day is SpellBound.

Oh girl the prices!! I’ve made a vow if I can’t get it for $150? It’s not getting bought and this is why I’m enjoying some Italian niche houses! They KNOW to price around $150! Which is most gals sweet spot!

Oh, I love your perfume descriptions! This video made me realise I have a lot of fragrances in my collection that I like but not many I really love. As of now, I think only one I could conffidently put on such a list and that would be 31 Rue Cambon by Chanel. As for the other four, I am still looking for ones I will absolutely love, but for now the other spots would be filled by Feminite du Bois by Serge Lutens, Eau de Protection by Etat Libre d'Orange, Poison Esprit de Parfum by Dior and Vol de Nuit by Guerlain. #spraywithgayabandon ❤

A few years ago I got my hands on Midnight Poison and I love it, unfortunately I wear it sparingly because being decontinued! ❤

Hi Gabi! Keeping only 5? I could never. Let me ask you something if I may. I’ve received a dupe of Midnight Poison earlier today and it baffles me. It smells nothing like what I remember MP smelling like. Do you get a very fresh floral opening? It shouldn’t be that fresh, right? I’m also familiar with YSL Elle and Perles de Lalique so I know the scent profile really well. Maybe my nose is playing tricks on me.

I wish Midnight Poison was still available. I love a blue bottle/liquid and I never got to try it. I have tried Perles de Lalique which people compare it to and if I remember correctly I did like it so I might consider getting that one day. I think I get along with patchouli, I like Angel too

If I only had five to keep and limit it to those I would file in my Goth category: Demeter Holy Smoke, Guerlain L'Heure Bleue, Chanel Cuir de Russie, Lutens Fils de Joie, and Lush Tramp. (Three of those are on my "you can keep only five" with no qualifiers list.)

Would you say that Siren is anything at all like Tresor by Lancôme. Some of the notes you mentioned, with the exception of chocolate, are similar.

I couldn’t do a gothic list without ‘Insolence’ from Guerlain… Powdery, candied violets that make you sneeze because of all the dust and cobwebs that it projects…💜🕸️🕷️✨
