I’m from Sweden as well… disappointed how they put icing sugar on top of their cinnamon buns. Cinnamon buns are originally from Sweden and that’s definitely not how it’s supposed to be done 😢😂

As a German I have to point out that that isn't a pretzel/Bretzel though. I would call it a Laugenzopf. Pretzels have unique shape.😊

I never understand why they don't sell actual swedish cinnamon buns (kanelbullar) in ikea, they are far superior. if you ever come to sweden you have to try a kanelbullar or kardemummabullar. So freakin good!!!

I think its because Americans are too used to the frosting. Swedish cinnamon buns are kind of dry in comparison.

@@sungod86 you're probably eating a bad or stale kanelbullar if it's dry, I definitely see it being a hit in places like the UK and Asia, as it's not so sweet. However, as ikea is cafeteria style food, they probably would not be as good as the fresh ones from coffee shops or bakeries

The pastry you didn’t know what it was called is a chokladboll! 😄 It literally means “chocolate ball” and is a very common treat here in Sweden!

Adding to @Zenobia ‘s comment, chokladbollar are made of butter, oats, sugar, coffee and cocoa powder! And they are either rolled in Swedish pearl sugar or coconut. They are very popular in Sweden as they are no bake and have ingredients everyone has at home☺️

The brown ball you ate is called a “chokladboll” in Swedish. Aka chocolate ball, a very common dessert here in Sweden 😊 and I’m surprised they made the cinnamon buns with icing sugar on top AKA the American way and not the Swedish way.. disappointed, since cinnamon buns are originally from Sweden 🇸🇪 😢 But I’m glad you finally went to a Swedish store 🙏🏼☺️

Love you so much! ✨for the vegetarians out there, IKEA has suuuper yummy veggie dogs for abt $1! They have French fried onions, pickled cabbage, and this really good mustard on them! You can also buy the veggie dogs in the freezer section and airfry them, they come out great!

As a Swedish person, I feel honoured and happy by this video :D And that ball thing in the video is a Swedish dessert (fika) called chocolate ball (“chokladboll” in Swedish) or you can also call it coco/coconut ball. (“Kokosboll” in Swedish) it is a popular dessert in Sweden and you can easily make it at home too! I love Chokladbollar!! ❤

Omg I love the daim almond cake. I’m not sure if you can at every Ikea, but the one near me sells the whole cake in the fridge/freezer in the food area by the checkout. My family sometimes walks out of ikea with just that cake

I can’t even step foot at our ikea. It’s so packed & I swear the families that go there make it an outing. I really needed some shelving & most of their prices were ridiculous. Took almost an hour just to get out 😂
