A great moment from Only Fools and Horses (To Hull and Back). Del-Boy seals a deal with a businessman known as Van Kleefe, which is to buy 30 diamonds from him and smuggle those diamonds back to England for Boycie and Abdul. After he is relieved to be out of the office, the Trotters see policemen and they believe they are after them, however at the end of the chase, they realise they got it all wrong! Haha, classic!

I think this scene really is important in explaining del boy's character. Beyond it all he will take a bullet for his family.

Rodney agreed to tag along for the exact same reason - so the cops would search him and buy time (R has the drugs record)

Del's a really good role model in that sense he puts his family first- no matter what. He shows respect always and has a very caring nature about him.😍 Sort of thing to look for in an ideal husband really.

I always love that chase. The music works for it and you have to love that last bit at the bridge when the Trotters realise what was really going on :) .

I know we shouldn’t compare Grandad and Uncle Albert, and I do love both of them, but we wouldn’t have been able to get something like this with Grandad. Only Albert could have managed to keep up with Del and Rodney.

it was my 2nd fav xmas special ofter 'Margate jbo' they could have been up about £21,000 on this but Del threw the 15 k out of the window..! 21k in 85' money would be around £65,000 in 2023.

me and my 2 mates did the same mistake but they couldnt run after 1 block and then we realized and if they werent with me i would of still bin bolting it
