Just started learning about trading, already spent countless hours trying to understand this sh... by watching countless people claiming they are holding the holy grail! Yet, every time I tried to wrap my head around it, I got this feeling of Russian roulette when they back test it, claiming 55% or so success rate after tweaking settings and placing millions of bets a day! Yes, they might be successful, but it sounds more like brute force, counting on risk reward ratio only and picking up the crumbs by spending countless hours trading micro bets. You my friend explains things the way it should be explained! I need the rational behind it, I need to understand what is actually happening to make me comfortable in what I choose to do. Finally some education that actually makes sense to someone who tends to always look for logic to back his actions, and you just provided me with the first tangible approach to trading that actually makes sense. All this is still easier said than done. You could have a good handle on what the institutions are doing to manipulate the market, have a clear bias, wait a while to see these new levels being formed with unmitigated liquidity levels and imbalances, and assume the institutions don't suddenly make their move not caring about those unmitigated areas for the time being while you're sitting there waiting and hesitating for the price action to become clearer and clearer and clearer. Or you finally make your move based on a clear new supply/demand level having been formed and pretty much all areas needing mitigation having been mitigated, you enter your trade ... and they still trick you by sweeping stops or running up/down to a previous liquidity level that looked like it had been mitigated yet one more time or two more times. And you're still taken out. Trying to guess if the institutions have finally finished their liquidity runs and/or liquidity formation levels often still feels like you're trying to play wack-a-mole.
