As nitrohead said, he had to use his phone as a webcam when he recorded this video and during his live stream because he accidentally left his actual webcam back in the UK. He ordered a new one, and things should be back to normal soon.

@@ApeironTO vtabs, vents, roation mech, and any other crews skills/items that will help you like food and directives. once u do that the batchat is so much more playable

@@ApeironTO Usually I'd suggest IRM, V Stabs and Optics, but you can switch out Optics for Vents, depending on what works best for you.

@@ApeironTO Vents and Aiming combined will make your aim circle as small as possible, equipment-wise, which is solid if you're able to aim *all* the way in every shot. Vstabs and IRM are meant to help *keep* that aim circle at its smallest size for longer instead, which helps you be more flexible with the 'where' and 'how' you shoot. Setup that'll work better depends on how you play the thing, really

@@Immortal_BP i use all of above and instead of rotation mechanism i have bounty improved aiming which makes the circle smaller and yet its still a hot pile of garbage

Bat chat was awesome back in the day. It seemed to load faster between rounds, It would turn better, It was quicker. WOT totally nerfed it like 10 years ago and dozens of better tanks have been introduced to WOT since. Saddens me

For the period of it being untouched it is still very competitive unlike other tanks 10 years ago, but it does need a small buff in regards to its gun.

It hasn't lost anything, it's the same as it's always been, the thing is that the other tanks are much stronger now.

@@nickos1397 dude tier 6 isnt rly sealclubbing. tier 4? yeah. tier 5? arguable, but yeah. tier 6 isnt, mostly since they have to go against tier 8s half the time

@@nickos1397 tbf every tier is seal clubbing for me, I get an average damage of almost 3k in tier 8 and over 4k in tier 10.

Any fires/explosions? The potential damage is not that much higher than 10k and this shit misses so many shots that only really good rng and all shells penned (or explosion) can make it happen

@@bozydargroch9779 A lucky game with 26 penetrations and 28 shots total fired. Bounty improved scope is a must have on this tank from my experience.

Harder and harder to effectively, consistently spot in your mediums since all the specialized scouts were introduced, especially the EBR 105 and the Manticore. Sure, you can boost BC's view range way above the 500m mark, but unless you also use a (bounty) low noise exhaust system, you'll be driving at around only 29% camo on the move (with bounty vents, food, concealment directive and all the skills). All the other good light tanks will be driving around with up to 55-56% camo on the move, making it incredibly hard for a Batchat to reliably spot for its team. You are simply to easily spotted by the other light tanks that have 500+m view range (except the EBR of course). Nowadays, I really feel like Batchat is forced, more than ever, to use its gun and to have a reliable one at that, since in most of the games I play, there are at least 2 scouts already. And IF your scouts die, you'll see you're gonna have a very hard time spotting in a BatChat even against a semi-competent light tank that is equipped properly for the scout role. That being said, I also had some >10k spotting games in my batchat, but they are rare and accidental, when all the scouts are dead and I'm FORCED to provide vision for my team at all costs. But more often than not, what carried the game for me in my BatChat was the raw damage dealt. Just my two cents.

Yea, it needs some love in 2022. The gun handling would be fine with it's potential if it had a better aim time and maybe a little better time per shell.

The AMX 13 105 is a better comparison to the 13 90

Compared to the 105 ,it takes more skill to make it work. You are bigger and you want to use that 5 shell magazine or else you could be in a 105. You need to really be careful of potiotining each tank has and be in the bedt place to grab clip opportunity.
