I have a feeling that, even if the free pickaxe, glider and backbling are not from the same set as Ascendant Midas, they were still made to fit perfectly with him. Another cool pickaxe you could use and fits both styles is the one you get from completing all ranked missions

I got it easy in 2 days, just camp on top of the Olympus statues wings, then when the storm closes on you, just jump and clutch with a zipline, and then hide and do as good as you can. @@DnddddddddTayy.

I wish turning the Golden Touch off was a separate option instead of just the reactivity and the fully gold version was just another alt style because if I want the Golden Touch Effect I have to turn reactivity on but if I don't want to use the fully Golden Ascendant Midas just the regular form it is a bit annoying

Same with the shade Midas touch I don't want a green wrap with fully golden Midas but to have the Shade Touch on I have to turn on reactivity (also Ascendant Midas' wrap turns gradually more golden on kills so after three kills the actual wrap wouldn't suit Shade Midas either)

People will literally find ANYTHING to complain about, just to hear themselves talk, and it is extremely annoying and exhausting. This is one of the absolute BEST skins, not just Midas, but skins in general. It is also one of the BEST Midas skins we have so far, and Fortnite absolutely went all out and KILLED it with this entire bundle!

They should have made the gold touch reactivity its own tab Because if you want the gold touch than you would be solid gold and if you want the skin to stay normal it looses the gold touch So I thing the gold touch should have been a separate setting

For those that may not have the Hadean Chariot yet, you could always use the original version of Shadows Bite(Cerberus’ glider), that is the closest I’ve seen something get to the correct color, OR.. the Victory IN Flight glider actually goes extremely well too.

My only problems with the skin are: 1. The Shade Midas on the Marigold isn't just the shade style. He's a combo of the default and shade styles, but that's not currently possible. 2. I wish the pickaxe could also have toggleable reactivity. 3. I also wish the touch was separate from reactivity, because I'd probably still want the golden touch without the reactivity, and for Shade midas, you'd have to use the wrap to make it match, but the wrap is still reactive.

Hey tabor did you notice that his left arm is a prosthetic metal arm because in chapter 4 season 4 kobo thorn went back in time to meet Midas and cut off his hand and I think that new pickaxe is Midas left hand that got cut off

@@BiggiecheeseAKAgod you're not understanding what im saying, because there was no underworld before this season, alot of people thought midas died and would never come back. Along with many other characters. Nobody would know what happened, or if characters could come back after dying. This season now shows that Fortnite Lore has an underworld, where Midas being the first one to come back from the dead. Even if the character dies. Now people can rest easy knowing that their fave character that died might come back in some way, either in a variant or as part of the lore.

Didn’t realize how many Midas outfits that we already had. I really would’ve liked the outfit to have a full gold style like as option and not a reactive feature, and for his golfer touch to be selectable on its own as well. I wanna be able to use Midas without himself turning gold, but the weapons do turn gold. oddly specific right😅

I believe the explanation of the shade version came right out of the Jules quest chain we just got. Jules had us bring her the chain of Hades and test the River Styx ooze so she could make gauntlets that would temporarily "cure" his golden touch. I'm assuming whatever she did with these gloves allows him to turn fully into the Styx ooze. Waiting for our follow up quests! That would also explain lore-wise why this is the only Midas that can turn OFF golden gun reactivity.

Honestly, As a HUGE Midas Fan and Enjoyer that has All of the Midas Skins (even the ones that don't count), I am happy that this new Midas exists. I wanted to combo stuff with Midas but it was hard to do it since his Golden Touch was in the way. I'm happy people can enjoy this version of Midas and by far, This Midas is way better than any Midas Skin in my opinion. Ascendant Midas will always be my favorite for my main since C2S2.💛 Also I always say that he is the William Afton of Fortnite because He Always Comes Back.😂

My question is mainly that he could already control it since in the trailer for him in ch2 S2 we got when his room opened up he was holding the black Knight's helmet and only turned it gold after touching it with the other hand which should imply that he could already control it unless the golden touch is only for the right hand

I think they did a very good job on the new Midas skin. They gave him an ancient overhaul and he still looks nimble. Maybe they could have made his pants look leather or something the like instead of modern slacks

It's definitely a bug, but one that should be implemented as a feature. Simply a "Golden Touch" option, one named differently for Shadow Midas, would be a great edition. With a Fully Gold alt for those who just want the gold immediately.

I wish they just added a style to turn the golden touch off instead of turning the reactivity off. I prefer using reactivity off but the fact I have to get 3 kills to get the wrap to be gold so it matches the skin is super annoying to me. I don't like it when his entire body is gold but it's really the only way to get my guns to be gold automatically.

I love that Midas and I have no complaints at all❤ My storyline combo is this: Ascendant Midas (1st style) Snakebite slasher pickaxe (that hades stole from Medusa) Skellebun Key backling (that Midas stole to open the gate to escape) Hadean Chariot glider (that Midas stole to get away from the underworld) And the wrap is: Golden ascension. Pls rate my combo ❤

In my personal opinion, I prefer the new king Midas over the original. I have the "OG" Midas, but I don't get the hype around him. Midas is supposed to look like THIS... not some secret agent in a spiffy outfit.

I love the skin it’s my favorite Midas skin,but I don’t like the cape or ⛏️. Also thank u Tabor for reviewing the skin I didn’t know that the reactivity affected the golden touch. Also for the back pack I recommend the golden durr burger it goes well with the skin

This is a perfect version of Midas this is my favorite one by far because it's true to him from Midas in Greek mythology and if you listen to the story it ties into what midas's story is

I’m pretty sure marigold can also technically turn her golden touch off if you use the blue style
