100 % agree that most self-help advice is toxic . Instead of wasting time on positive thinking , affirmations , belief , Secret, start focusing on going direct to your behavior and start working on getting good daily habits.. If your desire is to manifest your goal, then you first need to specify it in great detail then ask yourself : What kind of habits the person who achieves this goal would have and what kind of skills would this person have ? Now, those become the road map ( Getting the right habits implemented in your life and getting the skillset for that particular goal that you have outlined in great detail ) ..Thinking alone, thoughts are not good enough ..Set the thinking side, set the positive thoughts positive affirmations and the idea that I believe in myself I can do anything attidue aside, and go direct into changing your behavior through getting good daily habits and the right skillset.. What is this guy really an expert in? Downsizing is the best thing a bloated company like Twitter could have done, plus it was crucial to their survival. My former company was more productive when we downsized and just kept the A&B players. You really can do more with less if you have the right people, and twitter didn't have irreplaceable people. Everyone except the owner is replaceable, so this guy is just talking out his ass and he hasn't given me one good takeaway from this episode. My new company I'm running received a well needed twitter overhaul and is becoming more efficient with the new structure because I don't have the weaker players bringing down the A players.
