That's true. For me personally, my hair was much easier to manage after I got it cut. It practically detangles itself and I spend less time washing it and styling. But I do miss my length sometimes.

I'm not even at her length and can't imagine cutting my hair off especially when the goal is length retention. Glad you have not attached yourself to your hair as much as it sounds liberating and free but at the same time we have to honour how someone else feels about their own hair. Hope one day I can feel detached from my hair but for now, I want 5o griwmy hair as long as I possible can and maybe then I can see cutting it as like my nails. I just did this 4 days ago. I had to cut 6 inches off my hair after damage from a keratin treatment. Big chop #4 for me. Suffice to say I won't be putting anything on my hair unless it's shampoo, conditioner, oil and gel 🙄

It’s still looks good, you are a beautiful person so your beauty naturally compliments your hair no matter how u wear it. What’s funny is I just cut all mine off too. It was super long and I started clipping and before I knew it, my hair was the same length as yours is now. Like u I’m trying to convince myself it’s just hair it’ll grow back. I’m struggling with the regret of cutting it off. But we can grow ours back together that’ll be fun to have someone to watch and grow with!

That's how I feel about relaxers. Your hair won't be 100% healthy after getting one. But there are things you can do to keep it from breaking off so you are still able to grow it. The same with using heat.

I’m proud of you! It looks good! It’s going to flourish now! I cut my hair to my ears after damage, it’s been a year and a half and it’s past my armpits now! So don’t worry it’ll be back before you know it. Just make sure to keep up with your trims every 3 months

Sometimes you get tired of those dry colored ends or general damage I damage my hair throughout the year and do major cuts in the summer. It will grow back healthy as ever unless your me 😂

I need to do the same because I was on medication and it made my hair shed.... trying to let it bounce back a bit before taking off the ends...... healthy hair is the way to grow and we know that hair grows! lol Now I have watched the whole video- I like it. You can defo still do some really good styles. Shows you have a face for any length of hair. 👌😊

I can definitely relate to those feelings of doing another big chop. I had to cut off my color too to get my curls back from the damage color did to my hair, so you are not alone. I think you are a beautiful girl and your hair looks really cute 💕

This is my 3rd big chop and things are a lot better than the first for sure and trust Jess you hair just going to flourish and be beautiful. U did a good thing.
