Ontario Energy and Electrification Minister Stephen Lecce announces that the province will be providing Ontario Power Generation's (OPG) with an approximately $1-billion investment to refurbish eight hydroelectric generating stations in Eastern Ontario. He is joined at the news conference in Ottawa by Goldie Ghamari (MPP for Carleton), Heather Ferguson (OPG senior vice-president, business development and corporate affairs), and Paul Norris (Ontario Waterpower Association president).
