Hi John, I see your buddy’s are using a Wes Industries storage box. I believe the guy with the blue outty has the outlander expedition that I would to buy. Do you know how he likes it? I like the tesseract but there is no chance in getting one soon. I can’t find any reviews of these storage boxes anywhere. Some good comments of forums but that’s about it.

Ernie, We have a few bikes in the group with the WES industries box. I like it, size is good, room for two helmets etc. some of the cons are the lid hinge depending how big they drilled the holes, allows differing amounts of dust/h2O in. Mine was probably the best for dust, but I bought mine last so not sure if it is a build flaw etc, the other two get really dirty inside water is not much of an issue. I also enclosed the hinge of the lid with gorilla tape which makes a huge difference. The only other flaw that I have is there are 4 quick twist attachments for the linq system, but they are close together which makes the box a little wobbly (if they were configured differently it would feel more secure. All in all for the price point, the shape and look is awesome and I would buy another one. Personally I like the look better than the Tesseract, but you can easily see the difference in build quality when they are side by side.

I’ll definitely have to do a comparison/review of the Wes Industries box. @Eighty_Seven is the guy with the blue outty and he has some good real-world feedback on it.

Awesome. Thanks a lot fellas! I’m enjoying your content as I accessorize my outlander. Kimpex has a couple of nice boxes for the max but I think I’m going to go with the Wes industries. I’ll watch for dust and keep the hinges in mind.
