I was in high school from 2002 to 2007 when your PSP/Nintendo DS/Game Boy Advance or flip phone would get confiscated if you were caught using it in class. Why is this controversial?

This should have been banned many years ago - now let's get rid of knives and guns from schools .

It’s common sense. I even am wondering why it took this long for them to realize that it is wrong to let kids have their cell phones at school.

They also hire under qualified teachers in Quebec and give the money that should be going to hire worthwhile teachers to preserve a stupid language.
