On another note, how damn cool is it that all the top XC1 guys came over to him grinning hear to ear, so excited for him. Says a lot about the kinda dude Toth is, I think

im from two towns over from the toth brothers and both of them are class acts! His brother has a nasty woods loop at there fathers house... it explains why there so sick in the woods!!

Enjoyed the footage. You do a very good job of filming them in numerous locations during the race. Enjoyed the discussion with Big Tom and then with Josh and Nick. Keep up the good work. Great meeting you also (I'm the guy that had issues with his Honda Element...)

How did all the XC2 and A guys get up front like that? Did they change a section of the track once XC1 went through? Just seems odd.

Tends to happen in mudders, xc1 guys take their time on lap 1 and pick and choose lines so they don’t get stuck. Xc2 and A riders tend to send it more and push harder right off the rip. College A rider led lap 1 of the quads Saturday as well

Also, on the mental side, first lap if xc2 sees a fresh tire track from xc1 and no bikes stuck, that means xc1 has made it through that rut/line. Leaving a tiny bit less decision making for the first couple miles in a mudder for the xc2 and a couple classes under. Of course after a certain amount of classes it’s going to be back to chaos

I think that line between them all is just getting more and more narrow. Also it’s all on a 30-60 time adjustment for the start rows. Plus the leaders hit the lappers first. Once the top guys are by, those guys are expecting the others to be coming by and probably move quicker

Toth was actually 2nd physically, in sight of Johnny for a while. Finished 3rd physically on Ashburn’s rear wheel
