Great job on the DIY install. A few helpful tips from someone that does camera installs constantly if you ever have to do it again. While we don’t use the Amazon brands just from a long term warranty perspective, it seems like a decent kit for the money. When you’re deciding on camera location you can start with online camera FOV mapping with a aerial view of the property to get a general idea (there’s some free ones online) and then I recommend to connect the NVR temporarily and just use a cable and a camera to “see” what the coverage is like. This way you can maximize your coverage with the correct placement. Also not sure how high up the cameras are (it looks high on the video) but most manufacturers recommend somewhere around 9ft usually max of about 12 ft. Too low is a possible damage risk, too high and your FOV and image quality will be lessened. Overall great job!

Very nice upgrade and you sure can't beat free! I bought the Reolink system for my shop, since we already have the same thing on our house. I went with 6 on the outside and 6 for the interior, I ran all the wires and put on all the terminals so far, I haven't had the time to install the cameras. It's really nice because it came with a 4 TB hard drive expandable up to 24 TB. What did you use as a backing when you installed the other cameras in the sofit? They got all the final grading and rock laid, time to plant some grass seed and start on the interior steel. I'm scheduled to get my floor epoxyed on May 22 and then pick up my 4 lifts on the 28th (Advantage Lifts).
