Join us as we hit the OODNADATTA TRACK! We head from Maree to William Creek then onto Coober Pedy! We showcase some of the iconic spots along the way including a dip in a hot spring in the outback! Great video guys. I learned my lesson with Kings gear a while back, never again. I did the Oodnadatta about the same time as you but headed across the Simmo. Can’t wait to get out there again next year 🤙

Thanks mate! Yeah it’s not until you get out on this stuff is where the good gear shines. We are currently on the Gibb river road and it’s made the Oodnadatta track look real smooth haha. That would be an awesome trip! Cheers!

Wow, and you guys aren't grey, just nomads! :) You know, I reckon leaf springs/solid axle on trailers are a better bet on corrugations - simpler, less to break, maybe rattle the shit out of stuff in the van though, but better a mess in the van rather than broken suspension.

Hey Josh, I noticed your running the Dometic dust reduction system in the Lotus. How you finding it? I am struggling to swallow the cast of the Carafan in comparison. You had any dust in?

Hey mate! We just shot a video of this on our time across the Gibb, it works extremely well mate! We are going to try the carafan in the next van so we have something to compare it to. Either one will be great mate and is a must if going to be doing dusty roads!

Hi, loving your videos. I have a Y62 on order and I'm interested in the amount of fuel you are carrying. You mentioned your got 50 ltrs in Jerry cans, is that with the standard 140 ltr tank

Hey Glenn thanks mate appreciate the support and massive congrats on the new Y62! Yep so we have 140 litres in the standard tank of the car and currently keep 50 litres of fuel on the back of the van mate, 10,000km into our trip and been no dramas for fuel. Currently on the Gibb river road!

William creek road how was that stretch of road leading into Coober pedy and did you still have tyre pressure at 25psi

From memory mate it was the same as the Oodnadatta track and we stuck we 25psi! Conditions change all the time though and this was filmed about 18 months ago. Make sure you drive to the conditions mate! Happy travels! 🍻

Like your vids as a fellow Y62 owner, but please lighten up with the 'ums'.....very hard to listen to when every second word used is um.

Thanks mate appreciate it and thanks for the feedback. I generally aint the best speaker but am always working on it, I think I done real well in this episode so saying every second word is um is a bit dramatic mate. Cheers mate and enjoy the 62!
