Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

If it happens again and you have to cast 30 BURSTS in one turn, you can use Q, W, E, etc. to select the spells and do it faster. Also 1,2,3,4,5 works for the heroes.

After Olexa plays around with some green heroes I need him to do this game mode: Choose-Party in the cool game mode, and make your team 4 house cats and the 5th character doesn’t really matter. It will be a great time.

If you ever decide to mess with Nightmare mode, an important thing to know; you use characters from a winning run, but the winning run can't be more than a week old.

Emeralds can copy the effects of hero-specific items. The "only" is like an equip requirement, not a condition to the effect on its own.

The Sarcophagus gives you an extra item if you kill him before turn 3 otherwise he flees. In that fight you have to full focus him with damage

@@OlexaYT”bare minimum effort” is probably a harsh assessment tbf. It works great and it’s organized as best it can be given the amount of information they need to get across. The unlock menu you showed at the very end of the video was what I was reacting to as it was just a lot to try and take in all at once. P.S. love your videos, discovered your channel recently and been binging Balatro all week

Pillow is a really good item, if you have a really good side on the left side (which most often is the best), if you cant roll it one turn, but you roll it next turn or any turn after that it gets double pip, which can be really overpowered even in the early game

So I bought this game and I gotta say olanky, you make it look easy. Either you only post your good games, I’m really unlucky or you’re really good. Maybe it’s just a skill issue but it took me five tries to beat hard mode.

Compass is really good depending on the other items that you have and the order you equip them. Of course it's rather useless if you don't have an item that works with it.

i had a run with basically cantrip everything and killed the final boss with ibky 3 damage cantrip knives with 260 mana in the bank, i had two players with reroll sides so it was infinite

10:57 You can also use the 'copycat shield 1' once, then use the 'heal+ vitality' to change the copycat to vitality and still use it once, gaining an extra 1 vitality 20:54 Sarcophagus boss always flees on turn 3. But if you can kill him before he does, you get an extra item 21:18 I would never equip a 'mana 3 cantrip pain'. But maybe it works, at least while you have a '1 mana resurrect' ability in the team. Too bad it's the only level 1 hero who has it. 25:56 Enemies flee when their 'total HP+shield' is less than the 10 times the team's sum of current HP. THe golem had 7 shields and 2 hp so total of 9 I'm guessing. Could also count the team's shield if any. 30:38 The 'Poison 1, single use' did 5 poison damage to the lich this fight. Shouldn't look down on poison always. 48:51 I can assure you, that is not at all what a broken build looks like. Not at all. 52:56 You can do either 2 mana 'shield 2' or 'shield 3 heal 3'. Choose wisely, commander!

once i did a broken build with lethal + pip every mana in the bank + managain. With this build I was able to quickly gain 999 damage and mana, fun run but the slate was annoying in nightmare (reach 29/30 stage) but met my doom with 3 slate 20ish hp :((

@@OlexaYT I understand that. But it would be fun to see different strategies other than spam mana. A game with this much depth feels almost perfect for making crazy strategies. Like a build all around poison Or a built around counter attacking and status conditions. (Stall build) I’m not saying that you should do the most safe and boring strategy. But i think it would be fun to see other strategies besides spamming mana builds. Especially if you plan on making many more videos of this game it could get boring to watch you do mana strategies every time for 10+ episodes. Although I do have to say that the last fight in this video was absolutely hilarious! If I were the enemy’s i would have just rage quit right then and there.

@The_hot_blue_fire_guy I think that as he gets into more varied party composition, it will happen naturally. Like the double yellow team, and some of the greens. Clean damage and good mana are definitely the top two archetypes though. Random parties can really fail miserably. Like if you only have grey, green, and bad orange/red especially mixed with a little mama Lizz's random gen heroes, it can be an unwinnable disaster.
