Damn I was wondering what was going on. I spent 3 months getting my Bryan to Fujin and I decided to start ranking up some pocket picks. My Destroyer Kazuya is running into 250k Feng Wei players in Orange ranks.....Needless to say, my Orange rank level Kazuya did not stand a chance xDD

Look on the bright side, the more they fuck up ranked, the less ranked matters, the less rank stress I get. Thank you Bandai very cool

This explains so much. I spend up to 40 minutes finding a ranked match in a lounge full of players no matter what search criteria I use. I use 2 characters, my prowess is about 360k and I only play the same 3 or 4 names. I play group matches more often which seems to be where I find better players now. Found a 1st Dan yesterday who's clearly smurfing but had fun games. Ranked is a waste of time unless I know one or more of the usual suspects are on.

Ngl, Namdai Banco definitely lured us into the van with this one.

I swear,I knew something was off in the last week or so, I use to try and level up multiple characters for fun and noticed how hard the majority of matches were compared to before.

The funniest part is that if they really wanted to fix "smurfing" from people playing different characters... All they had to do was increase the rank of the alt characters. Make it so alts get leveled up to like 1 rank tier below your main instead of 2 tiers. Also, Eddy in particular was only a problem because of their own oversight where the game started him out at Beginner for everyone, even if you had a character at Tekken God. If you didn't want to stomp noobs you had to reach a rank milestone with a different character to level him up properly, which is ridiculous.

Prowess is weird, I will steamroll a player and lose prowess.
