In Episode 3, Captain Jack brings the boys back home to the Steel City to face the best team in the AL, the Baltimore Orioles. I play out the first game of the series against Grayson Rodriguez, and the bats struggle early. However, once the Bucs reach the bullpen we're able to bust the doors wide open and get a huge rally cap performance in the bottom of the 8th.
At the start of the video, I also do a quick walkthrough of our in game team goals and lay out what our team payroll situation is going to look like in 2025 since playing small market baseball is the primary theme of this series.

I'm doing a Royals playthrough but (currently) only as the manager. But, I think I'm going to assume the GM duties in my next season. Frustratingly, my AI GM only keeps one catcher on the active roster which causes problems at times.

Unfortunately the auto GM/Manager decisions can sometimes make a franchise incredibly frustrating to play through. I experienced something similar in playing FHM (OOTP's hockey cousin) as a GM only where my coach would never use guys I wanted was calling up or would use them in weird ways I hated that killed their development. I also don't think you can change that in the middle of a save.
