4:35 was the first bus which leaves from new bus stand at mettupalayam road From 5.30 am to 8.30 pm Every 20 mins you have frequent buses to Ooty from new bustand

We stayed at Aventura Fern Hill and tried local food because we are budget traveler If you are planning from mumbai Book train ticket mumbai to coimbatore From coimbatore go to new bus stop, from bus stop you will get bus to ooty If you want to go by toy train book in advance from coimbatore or also try from coonoor If you are lucky then you may get tickets. Important note: don't book hotel online because very costly try to book reserve hotels then you can search you may save money.

We went @10pm but there is long que so preferably go in early morning And There is a bus every 30 minutes because we were standing in line
