Ooty and Coonoor are beautiful hill station that are in Indian state of Tamil Nadu. These are known for tea gardens in the surrounding Nilgiri hills. One of the major attraction is the Nilgiri's Mountain Railway (Toy Train) which comes under UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.

In this video we have given detailed information about our road trip from Bengaluru with our 4 years old daughter #peppyprisha.
This is a 3 nights 4 days itinerary including the travelling days. itinerary includes:
DAY-1: Bengaluru to Coonoor.
DAY-2: Nilgiri's Toy Train (from Coonoor to Ooty) and Ooty sight seeing.
DAY-3: Coonoor sight seeing.
DAY-4: Coonoor to Bengaluru.

Nice vlog! I was in Coonoor recently, but only for a day and a half. A very beautiful place among the tea plantations. Even without doing much, it was just a nice place to walk around and breathe in the air, although it was super misty in the afternoons. I took the Nilgiri Mountain Railway the other way to Mettupalayam, and the guys in my train carriage were quite shocked I knew Dil Se Chaiyya Chaiyya 💃 when we passed the railway bridges 😂😉

yes coonoor weather is too good in coonoor... and the journey to the tourist places is far better than the destination itself... walking in the tea estates is very nice experience.. and the train journey too ia very good and yes that reminds of the most popular train song chaiyya chaiyya .. good to hear that you also know that song..

What do you mean by "just like any other view point" ? Should they manually create a custom view for you? *Ooty is beautiful, and the crowd and commercialization is the testament of the same.* Worth visiting again

Personally I loved conoor than ooty. Ooty was like a mini chennai over a hill station. Conoor was like a heaven. Excellent climate and less crowd is perfect destination

Last year I went to ooty and loved it. We didnt stay in ooty and stayed 1 night is coonoor and rest in kotagiri. U missed the rose garden and botanical Garden which is really very nice and beautiful. I m going again this year because bi just loved the lush green gardens, quietness. Again depends what kind of place u r staying.

I totally agree what your saying coonoor is a beautiful place,,, but ooty and coonoor have different climates sometimes,,, when its a sunny day there it will be raining here and when its misty here it will be completely raining there,,,different climates,,,Ooty is best all the time,,,when visiting it is better to visit when the crowd is less,,,like june or july and it is rainy season too,,,but people cone here on summer cause of the vacation and it is crowded,,,but there are so many beautiful places on the outskirts of ooty and it is so beautiful and pleasent and calming it is like a fairy tale,,,I really suggest you to come and stay in ooty and just visit the places here and highly suggest you to visit by less crowded times,,,I come from a place called Lovedale a jungle kind of place so much beautiful when it rains nothing beats the feeling and it gets so beautiful and calming...I agree coonoor is a beautiful place to visit,,,being only 25 kms from here I don't go there very often cause I like it here and I've worked at Bangalore since 2013 its a good place to work I really like the place the malls everything,,,

Yes, being our first time there we only went to the famous places.. but I guess there are many more unexplored places in ooty.. will surely visit again to explore some hidden gems.

Been there, done that. Thrice ;) Botanical garden wasn't crowded , it was free. I've seen worst. By the way you've done your part for the commercialization of Connoor ;)

Agree... But some measure can be done to limit the footfall of tourists.. Like limiting the number of tourists a day.. Our motive is to help the fellow travellers..

Actually you travel your own vehicle. but you going cornoor to Ooty by toy train u entered Ooty you don't have your car but how to u visited so many places in Ooty plz tell and suggest me because I have plan to

Actually we had our car in Ooty because one of us had travelled by car and others travelled by toy train.

Long journey is not a problem here... the problem is the overcrowded places mainly on weekends

Peppy did not like Ooty. The town is like any other commercial town .. Same with Darjeeling, Simla , Manali or Ninital. The sight seeing places are outside the town. Comparing Botanical Garden with Lalbaugh is not correct

We stayed in Greenview Rest House in Coonoor. This is not a resort, but the view is very nice. Also look for the tea garden facing rooms only. It is not located on main road so better if you are going by your own vehicle. In the same lane there are other decent hotels. Sunvalley Homestay is one among the best. Try for Sunvalley if available.
