"You should give him a second chance." The thing is, OP DID after the brother tried to kiss the fiancé and look what happened, the brother actually was SA'ing her. If OP and fiancé forgave the brother and gave him a THIRD chance, he would've been sneakier and bolder. I fully believe he would've found a way to fully harm the fiancé.

As a woman, how can a mother prioritize her son after committing the most heinous act a man can commit on a woman? I understand loving him unconditionally and forgiving him, but basically sliding what he did under the rug and demanding OP and his fiance, the fucking victim, to forgive him? Are you fucking kidding me? Just finished watching this and I forgot it turned out he was a serial assaulter. Shame on the mother and father

100% because he gave her her first grandchild. Especially being in an immigrant community. As soon as I read that, I said “ohhhh, now I understand.” There are so many stories on Reddit about mothers in particular throwing their children away because they won’t/can’t give them grandbabies.

I'll never get that, either. I made it clear to my kids that if they ever committed certain acts, they better hope the police get to them before I do. @DeeBraynt2010 He felt safe enough to do it at a PARTY and on his bro FIANCÉE no less. Unless you're THAT delulu, he knew his parents would cover/protect him. I've half a mind to wonder if one of them was a lookout during given his past history 🤔 they knew what's he capable of and kept their eyes on him, but wouldn't stop him, so instead chose to be near enough to mitigate the situation and throw doubt on the woman's claim.

Yes, my thoughts exactly if he felt comfortable enough to try that with his brothers fiancé, surrounded by family, then I can almost guarantee you he had done it to other women before, and according to the OP they lived in a very insulated community, which leads me to believe that the parents would’ve had some ideals of what was happening
@kayne2889

Dad's reaction to hearing what his son was doing says it all, he clearly knew his son had a history with SA and his first thought was probably "dammit" and wondering why that bastard would pick someone so close to the family. It would be easier to sweep it under the rug if it was a stranger or just someone, they could cut contact with, but someone that close to the family? They can't do that without having others ask questions.

His parents are total enablers and despite him being accused of sexual assault multiple times still support him. The worst case of golden child syndrome I've ever heard of. the only other case that I found near as bad was of parents covering up the youngest sons GF getting with his older brother and ghosting the younger one the day he was going to propose to her. Then for 5 years covered up the former GF marrying the older brother. The parents even went to wedding. The younger brother totally lost his shiat for 5 years wondering what happened. The GF had cheated on the younger brother for 2 years with the older brother before ghosting him and the parents knew about that too. Wasted 7 years of his life because of that.

So these parents deciding to cover for their oldest and pushing for their other children and daughter in law to "forgive and forget" they lose all of their children instead of supporting their youngest ones and would have lost the one. Totally logical these parents are, just wanting to keep pretending that their eldest wasn't a monster.

It's not about logic or how the calculus of how many kids they want to keep. They deluded themselves into thinking he wasn't doing anything unforgivably evil. They didn't want to think a son they raised was capable of that. Or worse, they don't think SA is "that bad" and believe that he is able to bounce back from hurting people like this. If op had been a little more skeptical and kept his girlfriend away from the brother maybe the story would have had a different ending. Maybe. But it honestly sounds like op's brother was determined to do something awful to op's girlfriend and just needed the opportunity. What a creep. Imagine thinking it takes four years to forgive attempted r*pe. I'm glad op didn't give into "family first no matter what or how ugly the circumstances". "He moved to the other side of the country, changed his name and went into therapy" right. So basically a crminal running away from the consequences and throwing up a smokescreen to seem like he's actually doing his best to reform instead of taking advantage of a clean slate. I'm glad op never let this slide. It was obvious that this wasn't the first time op's brother pulled this kind of stunt.

I'm not surprised that the second the parasite saw the cops he tried to run then fight the cops. He knew why they were there. Nor am I surprised that he lied to everyone at where he lived to save his butt and build hisife on lies. At least the parents testified against him and he's now jail. Unfortunately some people are just so beyond disgusting and vile. Typical that he tried to get back at op by trying to get op in jail for beating him years ago. Bet he was pissed when the judge dismissed it. He did that because he knew it was op that exposed his true vile nature to everyone and got him, finally, arrested.

@K.Esmerelda-zy7cf
@K.Esmerelda-zy7cf 2 ай бұрын
@@dest5218 It's not really about that. Minecraft is more about scratching the itch to hoard and build with a touch of survival. I'm a loot hoarder so I enjoy getting to feel a sense of accomplishment from obtaining as much resources as possible and having it be a good thing. There is also a sense of accomplishment from building. I've made some really beautiful structures. My favorite being a two story brick house with a bedroom on top. It had a huge 5 story pagoda on one side with a spiral staircase that ran from the ground floor up to the top and a little glassed in sleeper hidden in the roof. There was also a massive two story greenhouse on the other side of the house made from red brick and light blue glass that had a fountain on the roof that actually fed into waterfalls that ran down the interior walls down into streams on each floor. It had shelves filled with clay planters. It was on a small mountain nestled in the lower part of a mountain range and had a glassed in dining area below the ground floor that lead into the underground storage area which had a bathhouse and a huge furnace to heat the building. There was a glassed in water elevator that went from the basement straight up to the bedroom and an underground tunnel that went under the green house that connected to the horse stable near the farm. I had to dig up all the clay from river beds and fire it to make the bricks, grow all the trees and cut them down for the wood accents, floors and ceilings and the furniture and had to dig up all the sand and gather flowers using bone meal from fishing to make the colored glass. All while making sure I didn't starve. So I wouldn't say it's so much about fun as it is about feeling accomplishment for your effort and time. Minecraft is pretty therapeutic. Me and my GF play it together a lot. You can also play in creative mode like in most of these videos where you can just use anything you want without having to gather the resources yourself and you can fly. I like playing survival.
