Trigger heals him into another trigger that heals him. Katakuri earned that win, he really showed a lot of skill and talent by healing twice off of cards he didn't even peek at. Yellow was the best, healthiest thing they ever could have added to the game.

For real though what deck do you play that you're this mad about katakuri doing what he's designed to do. Kata has won so few majors or regionals and here you are acting like anything unfair happened. It didnt.

Why would you ever Counter with a Borsa if you have a Rebecca to Block while knowing that your opponent has searched a thunderbolt...

Should have never countered out with Borsalino. Instead taken the block with his Rebecca. Knowing he can play Borsalino down next turn and it can't be ko'd by thunderbolt. Would have won the game but we all make mistakes 🤷🏽‍♂️

He had the Two Hundred Million Volts anyway, would have been able to rest the Borsalino regardless if he played him or not

Sakazuki player is just straight up bad. Discarding kuzan 4 drop when its 1 of the best cards for that matchup is just baffling, and also countering with borsalino..

10 mom was ok in that game. The effect got off which was good but didn’t do anything outside of that. If the Sakazuki player didn’t pivot so much he might’ve been able to take that

Sakazuki should have swung 7k with Tsuru (3k Hound + 4 DON!!) and then 8k with Borsalino and I think they had a chance at winning. By not swinging either they just gave the Kata the win. I had a loss like that playing Blue Croc against Kata, you gotta go for game even if you think they have counters...

Katakuri having both amaru and tbolt there was clutch, saka had to go for game. Saka didn’t swing bc amaru requires you to be at 1 life or less, but even then, you can tbolt yourself down to one life and amaru

What is the best strategy for kata against sakazuki? Whats your opinion ? 😊

I personally haven't really played the match up, just try to defend efficiently and allow yourself to 10 mom safely. Obviously triggers are going to make it easier, also just being able to attack for 7 every turn is going to put a good amount of pressure on saka.

Dont understand the Saka hate tbh. It's a very strong deck but definitely doesnt pilot itself. Lots and lots of combo fixing. Those 10 Moms are so brutal most of the time.
