By the way, Black Maria’s effect only works if it’s the only copy on the field. So it doesn’t matter what the match up is or situation, never play more than one copy or they are both useless.

Great video definitely a tough matchup if doffy can't see gravity blades. Plus law play just drew god like

Yeah especially off of the pudding, pretty solid hand overall. Gravity blade would have potentially won him the game at one point, it did feel pretty close (barely)

if black maria leaves field but her effect was activated the end of turn still occurs similar to how newgates +2k buff would still occur even if he left the field after being played

I find it funny that you still say “Mo-I-ra “ 😂😂 Love the commentary. Keep up the good work. 👍🏽 I live in Japan. I couldn’t make it to this event but I’ll be at the Fukuoka tournament this month. I don’t want to play Law tho, I want to find a reliable weakness for it. Not taking the easier way by playing the BDIF

@@atrocioustcg thank you! I should mention that I’m in the EX event. It probably won’t get streamed because it’s simultaneously run to the main event. I didn’t have time to enter the qualifiers last month but this is gonna be my practice to get ready for the summer store championships. Question is … do I want to play Law or find something with a good enough matchup n pray I get lucky 🤔🙆🏽‍♂️

@@courtneygray1864 In my opinion (not super knowledgable in testing), if you want to win you play Law. :( I love winning, but I also hold having fun above all else so I'd swap personally LOL

I feel like it's better for Doflamingo to go for their leader instead of trying to control the board. Law can vomit bodies and it reached a point where he had a full board so clearing just helps him play characters.

If you have the pudding, kid, and black maria. And you didnt do the any Don minus effects. Use black maria's effect. The de-ramp will still trigger Pudding's and Kid's effect .. will give you Opponent's Don plus 2 don coz of Pudding and Kid.

Black Maria isn’t end of turn it’s activated main once per turn and you can only get the effect if you control 1

So theoretically if I activate main the Balck Maria, eventually play over the Maria since I have 5 characters on field, I don’t have to reverse don to equal my opponent?

@@atrocioustcg ooooooooh that’s what you meant! I thought you were saying the ramp and minus happens at end of turn. No as soon as the effect has been activated there’s nothing you can do to stop the de-ramp at the end of the turn it will go down even if Maria leaves the field.

An interesting idea, but what else would tashigi really grab? I don’t know if there’s enough value, you draw well with this deck anyways so you just hope on probability

The doflamingo lost when he decided to not put the 2k law back to his hand. Would still be tough to come back but at least he wouldn't have been mathed out of the game

I’d be curious to see how, when he survives the turn because of the 2k added to hand, if he could hit lethal since it’s one less swing

it doesn't matter if doffy puts law back to his hands. Cuz RP Law will know that doffy has 2K counter on his hand which is law and just swing 7K first. The calculation will be different if doffy has law on his hands. the swing will be 7K, 8K, 9K and last 10K.

@@kevincarb6366 tbh I’m not sure why he didn’t, but maybe the better play was to keep a body on board to swing next turn & hope for a gravity blade / red roc trigger. Tbh if he put it back in hand, the knowledge would have the last turn swings go different with probably almost the same result
