When you see an Opel Ascona on the entry list of a rally, it usually means great sideways driving. Here I put together the best shots I got from Opel Asconas on the rally stages the last 10 years.

One of my most fave rally videos. Ascona 400 B is a real hell of a car!!! And those insanely loud sounds coming out of it... Jozef Béreš is a Slovkaian mad driver. He is the one drifting and making those donuts... This video always makes my day!!! Petr from Mladá Boleslav (Škoda city), Czech, Europe...:-)

Ascona A/B .. was für ein wunderbarer Klassiker ( hatte ich auch mal ..war super zu driften im Winter :- ) Danke fürs einstellen hier.

Einfach nur Hammer ....ja Opel wird solche tollen autos nicht mehr bauen aber das ganze Umfeld hat sich ja auch geändert ....damals war Rallysport sehr populär und heute ist es quasi nicht up to date....

Darf man erfahren, welches Mikro und welche Kamera du verwendest?

Aktuell verwende ich eine Sony AX53. In diesem Video sind aber auch ein paar alte Aufnahmen mit der Sony CX360VE dabei. Jeweils kein extra Mikrofon, sondern immer das in der Kamera integrierte.

After a careful watching the video I found out that it has a rear wheel drive, the same like Opel Manta 400 GT/E has... Beautiful and clean video of a great rally car!!! It is also one of my dream cars to be driven in future. And dreams are made to come true... Maybe one day... What videocamera did you use filming this rally action? It is so clean and sharp!!! Well done, Petr from Czech.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy the video! I recorded it mostly with a Sony AX53 and some older parts with a Sony CX360VE.

@@petrhaisman8645 For the record, it is a Manta gt/e (2.0 liter, 8 valve) or a Manta 400 (2.4 liter 16 valve). And yes, both rwd......
