Ich habe selbst zwei Kadett C Coupe GT/E gefahren. Schön das dieses Auto heute noch zum Einsatz kommt. Meine Meinung: es war der beste Opel bis heute. Danke für dieses Video.

Many people do say, that the last great Opels were the ones designed in the 70's. After that they somehow lost their heritage completely and went downhill. Omega was the last one trying to keep up some sort of sense with their lineup. But these C-Kadett Coupes are pure joy to look at, fast and nimble little beasts.

Opel had to still be able to sell cars. People prefered the Front wheel Drive Golf so Opel had to Act in order to survive

Einfach tolle und markante Fahrzeuge mit gutem Handling, die natürlich auch nach einem guten Fahrer verlangen. Das waren noch Zeiten....... Wozu braucht man ABS, Servolenkung, elektr. Fenster und ESP und Airbags? Weg mit dem Müll! Früher hatte das Wort Kraftfahrer noch eine ganz andere Bedeutung

these ppl on these Kadetts are amazing..that cars and performances are such a good looking, i bet that this Kaddy with drivers like on this vid would win hillclimb VS evos and imprezas any day...because i saw many vids (and climbs live) and not even one Impreza or Evo noob came close to this performance

The Opel Kadetts shown in this video are built on the 'Tcar' platform, so if you can find a Chev Chevette then it'll have an identical chassis. All you need then is a driveline and suspension kit from Germany, a fettled chev ECOTEC motor on quad 45mm throttles and some wide arches. Sorted :P

English is fine. What country are you in, as most of these cars use an engine based on the Opel/Vauxhall/Holder XE2.0 engine. this was developed for vauxhall by Cosworth Engineering in the UK in the mid '89s and was even used as late as the WTCC Cruzes, one of which won the Championship in 2010 or 2011 - the last year they used the 2 litre. This engine is still very popular (I've 3 in mostly stock tune) and you should find many tuners on the internet. Gearboxes, differentials, etc, the same.
