Deffo lookes like someone was working on the airbags wiring before you Peter great work though I never seen a video on KZfaq of anyone creating fault code to trace the one you after. great educational video and the best thing showing us guys how to properly use a scan tool love this video cheers peter

I find that a lot of the time I have fault codes but I actually don’t understand or be familiar with what it is telling me. So I create faults to find the circuit, whether good or bad it works quite effectively for me 🤔👍👍 Cheers Wackey 😉

Seems to be the connections below the seats quite often I find. Thanks for taking the time to share 👍

how did you remove the connector from chassis?

My ones were removed before me, but just give them a hard pull and the clips holding them in will leave go 🤞🤞👍

My airbag light on my Tigra A turns on over 3500 RPM and my lights are brighter. Under 3500RPM everything is normal. My temperatures sensor wire is a little bit damaged and it doesn't show correct temperature. I don't know if that is causing the problem or battery. Previously I had 540 Ah battery and I changed it for 480 Ah. I changed alternator last year.

That is going to be a puzzling one for whoever gets the chance to repair it. I’d love it for a video, it would make an excellent case study. It isn’t the battery anyway but I wonder could it be a bad ground wire 🤔🤔

@@kennedysgarage3281 I'm curious what is the problem. It could be literally any bad connection or bad wire. I think I will take the car to car electrician.

@@enigmalex3649 in my case the block connector under the seat came loose & if you checked them first 🤔🤔 If the connectors are good & clean it would be worth going to someone that has some experience with airbag faults 👍👍

@@kennedysgarage3281 I finally solved the problem with my airbag light. Something burned out in the alternator and voltage would go up to 19V over 3500 RPM. Luckily it didn't burned out something else lol. My mechanic replaced that part and now the car is working normally.

@@enigmalex3649 wow, 19 volts is pretty high 😬😬 Well done on solving & sharing the problem though 👏👏💪💪

Yep done these. Connection under the seat. Damaged by kids toys, shoes and sticky lolly pops. And of course homework that clearly was left to rot in the car.

I've an 08 corsa with 11 airbag codes. B0021 B0014 B0015 U2116 B1000 B0022 Snap on computer fails to clear any codes. Fixed some wiring under thr seat and cleaned all the connections for all the air bags. Any ideas what the issue is or why the computer says failed to clear when I try and clear the codes?

Hi Paul, a scantool doesn’t do any magic. It just erases faults after the faults have been repaired. So if the faults aren’t repaired first then the scantool cannot erase them 🤔🤔 Has the car been involved in a collision or are your repairs under the seat good enough. You need to look at live data and figure out where the problems are and then you will be able to erase them 😉👍👍
