Hello nice video ! Somes questions : Did you let the tweeters mounted and working too with the new speakers or did you removed the tweeters ? And does it give better sound and more bass than the original ones ? Thanks 👌

I let the original tweeters in place. There is a little more bass than the originals. With the original CD player is hard to tell, it is not powerful enough for those speakers. I think it will sound much better with a more powerful unit.

I have speakers to install but not the adapter ring, If I cut the ring from the speaker do I need that extra white thing you glued to it? Is that to give the ring more depth?
@CorsaDForever Жыл бұрын
If you find a another way to fix the speaker, you may not need that white ring. You can improvise something else.

@@CorsaDForever Yeah I just drilled new holes into the door and mounted with rubber tape from a draught excluder.

@@CorsaDForever Thanks, I just drilled new holes in the door and used foam draft excluder tape between. Worked a charm

From where did the white ring came from? I am about to buy me some adapters, but if I can reuse the old ones, I'd might spare me some 15 quid...

The ring is made of pvc foam, cutted on a CNC machine. There are basically 2 rings of different sizes glued together. If you don't have acces on a CNC machine is better to by the adaptors, they are not expensive.

@@CorsaDForever Cool, not something I would be able to do then without that machine!! No worries - do you sell them anywhere? And if so how much to post to Bournemouth, UK?
@CorsaDForever2 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I worked quite a lot to adjust those speakers. Not worth it. You better buy the adapters directly, they are not expensive. I did this as a hobby, just because I can. I'm not producing for sale. The mail probably costs as much as a set of adapters on eBay or from an audio store.

Salut !

No adapter with new speakers??!!
@CorsaDForever4 жыл бұрын
No. I just used the old speaker basket as an adapter. I just made a flange to fit the speaker better.

Din ce ai făcut flanșe aia alba?
@CorsaDForever4 жыл бұрын
Dintr-un pvc expandat, numit si forex, asta am avut la indemana, dar poti face si din mdf.
