I went there early morning, the soup is flavorful and you can taste the thick herbal flavour. The pork is fresh I love the collagen from pork skin hehe

This is called Bak Kut Teh, meaning pork bone (herbal) tea, not "umami soup". 😑

Tea is tea, no tea that is of so called "herbal origin". There's never any "inventor" of BKT, don't even say the inventor's name is Teh. Surname Teh in Chinese is Zheng, not because of Bak Kut "Teh".

I remember a shop in Singapore in the 1990s selling Hainan Curry Rice in Hougang . 0pen @ 2am People queue to get in .Once open full house . 2am to 6am sold out . Very very good . I miss in very much . ❤❤❤😢😢😢😂

They have moved but still in Hougang. In a newer coffee shop. 2nd generation running d show now, d older folks either retired or passed on. It's abt 500 m from d old shop. Walk towards Sengkang direction on d right. Can never miss, only one Hainan Curry Rice.

It's beyond me that such opportunity to make more money be wasted. Double quantity might be good for a total of 4 hrs. Preserve quality? You got the recipe already and why cooking more would lower your quality? After 9am and then what? Do nothing whole day? Oh course, SOLD in 2hrs! Because its only ONE pot!! And why am I so mad? I think it's not even worth lining up at 5 am to begin with. Okay.... I said what I had to say. 😂. Peace!

I don't know some people trick on doing business... If me... I would double the stock and observe the consumer traffic... If still sold out in 4 hours maybe can make triple the stock... When business is good ,try to rack as much as u can... F&B we never know the continuity especially when u only sell one type of food choice... CMIIW
