I was literally and I mean literally about to buy a gt500 and I went and test drove an 18 Gt about 6 months ago. The deal they offered me on the 18 was just a little more than the gt500 I was gonna get, but my dealer threw in a lifetime bumper to bumper unlimited mile and year warranty to get me to sign. Love my car, but man do I love gt500s. Such a hard choice

@@soupsfarm1825 We pay 5,10 a gallon here in Netherlands. Then there is tax of your car engine and the size of your vehicle and you don't want to know that how ridiculous that is. If Germany offers a car for let's say 120k, here in the Netherlands it will cost above 160 easily because of the tax. I've been to America 3 times already and the prices per gallon I've seen in cali was 3.7 max last year. Other states I payed 1.7/3 on average, the us is fucking cheap and you guys are lucky:)

Who's your smog shop? You live in SoCal(like I do) and with your mods and now cutouts(Cali passed the new modified exhaust law too recently), has me wondering, how is it possible to get your tags??? Are you registered in a high altitude area like Julian? I know there's certain counties in CA where a bi-annual inspection isn't required.

I have cutouts on my ve sv6 commodore only down side is a noticeable drop in power when cutouts are open I had a dB reading done 107db cutouts closed 118db open on a 2 1/4 inch cat back with hotdogs on the rear man it sounds like beast for v6

Had a set of cutouts on my 383 stoker and I melted the gears inside it after 3 months and when I closed it because it was supper early out it wouldn’t close all the way you could hear the terrible Exhaust leak and I’d have un even back pressure and hurt my valves and timing and it wasn’t to bad but you could feel the performance difference

So how do you get past California emissions? I want to get headers and high flow cat mid pipes for my SRT8 challenger, but all the options I look at say in California they’re illegal, and I live in San Diego. I want more power but I need it to be emissions compliant for insurance, without boost. I mean technically with the new exhaust law it’s already considered illegal since it has no mufflers or resonator... any suggestions Nate?

Sounds great but beware in California they are looking for the cutouts as well as the 95 decibels max. They just got a friend of mine running the same setup on a 2017 Roush supercharged gt. They got him for excessive noise, cutouts and tinted windows.

Did you experience any issues with A/F readings or back flow issues when yours are closed? I've had cut outs on both my Mustangs and they each had some A/F issues after install. Also next time go with DMH low profile ones. I've had 4 different set of cutouts, 2 being from DMH and my favorite were the low profile ones from DMH Performance.

They do make coyote cams, but they have variable valve timing (which gt500s and 3vs don't have) so unless you lock the cams it won't chop as hard as non vvt motors.

Daniel King Whoops. Just read the description. Didn’t see the rest of his exhaust setup til now. Also just skipped to hear the sound, so he mighta mentioned his setup. But I didn’t hear it. But Pypes IS the cheapest brand exhaust for the Mustang. I’m guessing he only did this because Pypes sponsored him. I doubt he otherwise ever woulda considered putting anything as cheap as Pypes brand near the rest of his exhaust. Pypes goes for loud over everything else, to the point of being raspy. I hate it. A Mustang should be loud, but also deep and guttural. It shouldn’t sound like I put a fart can on a V8. And that’s unfortunately what Pypes usually brings to the table.

Definitely a beast buy Ford really lacked in a big way when it came to the cabin. The steering wheel doesn't fit the car and the interior controls and panels are way too cheap and bland. Great exhaust. I used to have a 2010 4.6 with custom fenders so it looked very sleek and one off. I had a Kenne Bel inside which was very nice and it was completely blown with cams and upgraded 2.6 pulley. Enjoy it as much as you can man!
