What scares you? AI isn't scary; humans are. The only way to fix that is to make AGI as soon as possible because AGI means an intelligence that can perform any task humans can, and sometimes better. This makes it almost impossible for humans to hack AGI. Even if they do, after hacking, AGI won't be AGI; it becomes ANI. That's why AGI is the best solution, and I believe it's the best solution for every problem.

And The market is going out so competitive they will definitely gonna make one. It’s just cost stopping them the computing power they need for it. Trillion of dollars ain’t a joke. And AI is becoming a part of every single tech out there. Sooner or later we might have no jobs but the only things valued would be ideas and attention towards your project or product you ultimately created using AI.

hello varun, I am a ML engineer.as you said in the videos its not always the same character that is easily fixable. They can make the machine learn what it produced for a specific api call and produce something super similar to it according to the prompt.and i think companies like open ai plan to do this because then only api for sora will sell

4:30 While you said it generated everything from scratch, but its pretty much possible, even with todays models, to specify parameters like color pallets, character similarity, mood, etc. So with a bit of improvement in the quality this is easily achievable.

We have got used to the thinking that technology improvement is always great....but technological advancements can be catastrophic as well like for eg: nuclear warheads. But unlike nuclear warheads that can be shelved because of its danger AGI/AI will be much harder if not impossible to shelf. Hope we find a way to control AI once AGI is achieved.

ok so i work at a company as a motion graphics artist i use a lot of leonardo ai to generate images and then taking that still as a starting point and then use after effects to further do motion and that saves me a lot of time , and i mean a serous lot of time , no body in my company knows that and i also use chat gpt to create some after effects scripts too. what do you think when it comes to soora , would it be able to generate things like text revealers, pattern overlays , hud animation or any kind of animation , and what do you think the future holds like, in my company there are 2d artists that make character and scenes , and we do some basic animations like walk cycle , talking animation , can it make those basic animation like walk cycle , lip sync animation and other stuffs with the character and background we might provide , or it would be strictly limited to generation from scratch?? i have lots of questions man , need more videos on this or posibility of what i just said.

It can for sure. AI can just run any software on your PC to its fullest capacity. Cause at the end of the day these are just softwares and AI can easily master them in and out very soon.

Sora has developed an implicit physics engine under its learning parameters which it learned itself through the training data. And that is mind blowing, and longer it gets trained that internal physics engine will get better and better. Imagine AI helping us unraveling the mysteries of the universe.

Varun.. what you are saying that the machine is missing, is the life like consciousness. Dont take a full movie making as a context. If the machine starts to have that consciousness, it will make movies like humans do, withing seconds..So the thing that we r looking at is not more compute, not more chain of understanding of script but overall general consciousness. Some day, we would be able to generate a 20-30 minute long video. Most of the people will surely disagree on this as generating a full 20 minute video by a single prompt would not be something that we want to have, like there can be some scenes where we aren't satisfied. But what if we could get a 20 minute by giving a prompt which tells what the video is about and then we could move to some 5-10 second scenes and can alter that like Changing the background or the actions that there person is doing in that 5 second scene. Also it would be revolutionary if we could pass in the dialogues of different characters after the desired video is generated and then according to the dialogues, ai could actually control the lip and jaw movement of the characters as well as add voice to it. This could make film making a lot easier. It would also be great if along with dialogues we could all pass what tone these dialogues should be spoken in. I am eagerly waiting for that day. @Varun Mayya

Sora is good enough to function as an imagination function for AGI. By giving sora a set of slightly varying prompts, then picking a "best outcome" from the results, and iterating, AGI is right around the corner... The real kicker is the bowl of milk in the cat king cathedral video. If that wasn't prompted, it means there is enough intuition to arguably have a proto-subconscious.

remember one year ago how bad was the ai generated video of will smith eating spaghetti was? we were laughing at it and thinking text-to-video still has a long way to go. Now here we are just one year later and we have sora which have mind blowing beyond insane ai generated videos. sure even sora has flaws but a normal person wont notice it in first glace. while the ai genenrated video of will smith was so obvious that its made by ai. Also, as someone who has been learning as a 3d artist. i have already lost my hope in learning it any further and have decided to drop it. by the time i would completed 3d design this Ai will become even more better and better. at this point i may just start a business or idk man f it.

Like giving it a photo and asking it to do any action or movement within that image that way it can generate video keeping the subject accuracy.. For the car example it was not given sample of the image of car it was just prompted to use the above generated image as reference. Also u can give it 'continue' prompt to use the same subject instead of giving a reference. The model thinks the word reference as similar. Instead use word like copy/exactly/ etc etc
