9In this video I am briefly showing the OpenEar - application for RTL-SDR dongles that can decode digital transmissions like DMR , TETRA , POCSAG (pagers) , ADS-B , NXDN4800 , NXDN9600 , DPMR with SINGLE CLICK !
You do not have to install DSD plugin or extensively play with SDR Trunk, Unitrunker, rtl1090, multimon-ng - this application has all of it.
Requirements :
- Windows 10
- RTLSDR libraries installed ( see here : www.rtl-sdr.co... )
- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable libraries
- rtlsdr.dll needs to be copied to Openear directory

Looked around, found a newer version lacking some codecs, but found older versions with those codecs. Putting them together seems the way to go.

I e-mail'd the guy and downloaded the software. When I run it, it says that there's no receiver. I have an RSPduo, ans a HackRF One. Is some special receiver needed to run this ?

When you say you have to adjust your antenna to receive Adsb transmission, what do you mean? I’m not getting any adsb so not sure if I’m doing something wrong

I was using different antenna for Adsb. basically it was around 13cm long dipole as I recall. I had to replace antenna

Easier in french, j'ai une clé rtl sdr, l'antenne telescopique rentrée et je vois les avions et même les hélicoptères a paris dans la rue devant chez moi. Je recois des signaux d'environ 60km. J'utilise mon smartphone et le logiciel avare adsb tout est intégré, c'est très facile

Hi. You need radio power amplifier for this. On www.aliexpress.com put in search window "wide band power amplifier" you will find plenty of what you need. I would recomend to look for some wide band amplifier that covers huge range of frequencies (up to 1Ghz or more). AFAIK for 5 usd you will find something that suits your needs and operates on 5V as Raspberry does

Hi, my email is on github in any of my scripts/source codes. The range you were asking of will depend on antenna you have selected (SMA connector!) and amplifier you have chosen (connect with some pin-to-SMA adapter). With the cheapest amplifier I think the range will be extended up to 100-300 meters because they have 20dB of Gain

I think it works only with cheap rtlsdr dongles. I don't have HackRF to confirm...
